Date Crown Date Paste

This is the best date paste I’ve tried so far. Soft & rich in taste! Baked two batches of Dates Ma’moul & I couldn’t recommend it more 👍🏻

This isn't exactly a paste - it's more like a soft block of date, similar to the hard blocks you can find in a supermarket.But the quality of dates themselves is much better quality.I bought this in order to make protein balls - for which you need to be able to blend dates with oats, nuts, seeds etc.This product is perfect for that - no need to use a blender, no need to soak to soften - you can combine with other ingredients by hand.My only criticism is that the packaging is poor - unless you are going to use the entire 1kg pack in one go, you are left with a very sticky plastic shell that does not reseal well. I ended up putting the whole thing in a tupperware container until next use.But overall, if you want dates to use uncooked in making your own health snacks, this is a very good solution.

Good quality, well priced, full flavoured dates

Tastes good. But, outer package smelt very strongly of soap/incense/something similar. The date since manufacture was over a year but the date til best before was only a few months.

I wasn't sure what to expect but I'm thrilled with this product! I bake a lot using only dates for sweetener but Medjool dates are expensive and the smaller dates you get cheaper are dry and need soaking. Using this block is great, I chopped it up into small cubes and just tossed them in mason jars. Easy to use a few at a time and what I like is they are soft and easy to smoosh into a date paste using a touch of the liquid from your recipe or water. In hot foods or sauces they break up really easy and mix in well. I think I'll be buying this now instead of whole dates. Thank you for a great product.

Well let's not lie to ourselves. This is a dessert afterall :-)Personally I found it a little bit too hard and dry but it didn't stop me finishing it all in 1/10th the time I should haveI say it was dry and hard because it is called paste (and I have had nice moist Date paste in the past). For a reasonable and low price, I would buy again.

I do normally buy date paste from a local shop, however this time I couldn’t find any and decided to order some via Amazon.After reading good reviews telling it was a smooth and delicious date paste, I decided to order though the expansive price.OMG, when I opened it , the paste was full of hard bits(rock like), impossible to use or eat white anything.Smooth???Delicious??I am sorry but I bought for years smooth delicious date paste that wasn’t more than £4, and can assure you that this one isn’t good at all and the price is definitely a RIPOFF!!!
