You can barely get the battery compartment door shut with the batteries inside. The body of the sewing machine is so poorly made that it looks like it's going to just fall apart at any moment. All I wanted was a sewing machine to hem some pants and all the descriptions and Amazon's AI both said this could do it.... well guess what, it can't. This thing isn't worth the cardboard box it's shipped in, don't waste your time and money, get a better sewing machine or a seamstress.
