Incredible paper worthy of any fountain pen
Forget Moleskine. This is the Best paper notebook I’ve found. The paper is far superior to Moleskine and others out there. Of course it’s Japanese, where paper has been perfected over centuries. My fountain pen just glides giving it a lovely writing experience

paper is really really really smooth
Did not expect the paper to feel that smooth. When I felt it, I thought that my cheapy gel pens from china would smear on it so i used pencil. bad idea, because my handwriting gets worse if I use pencil on this paper. Then, I took the leap and decided to try my cheapy gel pen on it. wtf. it did not smear. at all. literally tested it seconds after writing.if you like gel pens, this paper is for you

Gorgeous
I’m writing with De Atramentis Black with a Pilot Custom heritage 91 (fine nib) and, this paper is divine. I thought that regular Apica was good—this is next level!! I can’t wait to try my new Platinum UEF on this paper.

the Lamy joy 1. 1
This is the smoothest, softest, silkiest paper I have ever had the pleasure to write on. I use multiple fountain pens without feathering or bleed through. There is minor ghosting but I don't find that surprising. I've used the pilot vanishing point pen medium nib, the Lamy joy 1.1, the twsbi eco fine point, and twsbi mini vac broad tip pens all without issue. I absolutely love this notebook!

Ballpoint pens or pencils only
Don’t buy this paper to use with dip or fountain pens. Despite my best efforts at having a light touch, I absolutely can’t keep the ink from feathering out. My fine nib only shows a little feathering, so you might be okay only using extra fine pens or ballpoint pens, but a medium nib or an italic nib are hopeless. I regret buying this paper (from a local shop).
