Sechler's Candied Sweet Mixed Pickles, 16 Ounce (Pack of 6)

I just absolutely love these pickles. A little pricey, but no more than you would pay for homemade pickles at a farmers market or craft fair. Get the 6 pack for less money per jar. So delicious!

For some unknown reason nobody sells mixed sweet pickles anymore in any grocery store. They just disappeared from all grocery stores shelves overnight. Nobody in the stores knows why. Thank the heavens that Amazon had these mixed pickles available. They are excellent and we will buy them again.

The first time I had Sheckler's pickles I was in Indiana. They don't sell them in Texas. Found them on Amazon. They have many varieties but my favorites are the sweet mix. You can't go wrong with these. Being glass jars, they were packed with care.

The flavor of this is great, but the packaging is poor. Each jar as wrapped in bubble wrap and randomly placed in a box. Evidently, the box had been handled roughly; possibly dropped. Two of the six jars lids had banged into each other causing dents allowing the vacuum seal to break causing the brine to seep out into the inner box and bubble wrap. What a mess.

Love the product and would highly recommend it to anyone. The only issue is with a sticky substance on three of the six jars that I received on the jars inside of the bubble wrap. Not sure if it was a leak or sticky stuff when bubble wrap was installed.

In the olden days you could buy these in the deli, they were in a big bowl and the server would scoop out a pint or quart for you. They no longer do this Publix said they used to carry them but they didnt sell. My only source is Amazon. Walmart, WInn Dixie, ALdi's, dont sell them either. I share my orders with my neighbors and family when I place an order everyone takes a jar....
