this is a 120 v system so you would need a converter but it does not draw much power. or a gas generator to power it

Q: When it says "5000lb/0.5lb", does that mean it is a 5000 lbs. capacity with a .5 lbs. accuracy?

that means it will round to the nearest 1/2 pound

the scale has to settle and it will give you a reading in like 2 seconds

you put what you want to tare on the scale hit the tare button and it will stat from zero
