Popeyes Sweet Heat Dipping Sauce

I used to work for Popeyes, and I can tell you that this sauce is EXACTLY the same as the sauce you receive from Popeyes. Sweet and hot, this sauce will have you crying and sweating in no time (in a delicious way, of course!). It took me only a couple weeks to go through the bottle, so it’s time to order more! Really good price for the bottle size, I might add.

If you seek honey with a hot, tobasco-like flavor, this is it. I make a mean chicken sandwich using an air fryer, and pairing it with this sauce and some chunky blue cheese or Roquefort dressing is brilliant. I love to add lettuce and maybe tomato as well. Some restaurants add a pickle and serve it with fries, but I prefer potato salad. I am happy to put this hot, spicy honey on many food items, such as chicken fingers. I get some from a famous chicken place, and their sauce leaves much to be desired. But with this honey, it is a treat. If you prefer less heat, add a bit more regular honey. It is easy to have one of those easy-pour squeeze-bear containers on the table.I love that this is so versatile. I recommend gifting this along with many other items in a gift basket. What I've always heard about fast food branded sauces at stores is that they never taste just like they do in the packets, that it's not unusual that it's not the same manufacturer.I decided I'd take the chance on this anyway because Sweet Heat is my favorite nugget sauce. I'm glad I did, because it's just like the stuff in the dipping containers. I poured some out from both containers and they had the same constancy and look. Flavor wise, they were the same. I wanna say I thought the from Popeye's sauce seemed just a touch hotter, but not a big difference and I may have just gotten "lucky" with that dip. Either way, this is a winner. Now I just need to find the mardi-gras mustard for sale (not in stock on Amazon atm)

I feel like it's sweeter than the fast-food restaurant containers. 🤔 I felt more heat than sweetness in the restaurant containers. That's why I loved them.

Tastes just like the sweet heat in Popeyes! I got it shipped via a forwarding service so the package held up well all the way from the US to Guadeloupe. My boyfriend is French & tried it for the first time. He loves it!
