Smelly but still have raccoons
Raccoon mother and babies moved into my attic. Tried this after strobe lights and radio did not get her to move out.Tossed the satchels near attic window (her entry point); near the nest and attic stairs. The smell is horrible and I was hopeful it would cause the raccoon and babies to vacate. A week later and the raccoons are all still up there and my house (inside and outside) smells of garlic. You can actually smell the satchel as you approach my house. Once inside, the order is awful. I will be picking them out of the attic and throwing them away now.

Goodbye, Midnight Bandits!
Finally—something that truly works against raccoons! These granules are simple to use, safe for the environment, and keep critters away without harming them. I sprinkled them around my garden and trash area, and the nightly visits stopped almost immediately. I love that they don’t smell chemical or toxic, so I feel good about using them near pets and plants. They last a good while before needing to be reapplied, and the 8-pack is a great value. For peace of mind and a raccoon-free yard, this product is a winner.

It does work.
Product took a couple of days to work. At first the coons ignored the odor. It does have a very strong odor. The product has lasted a week, through three rainstorms and is still going strong. I don't think the product could be used inside due t the smell.

Doesn’t deter Raccoons
This was advertised as being a good repellent for raccoons, but it did not work. The smell is very strong and unpleasant to humans, but the raccoons walked right past the packets, totally Unfazed.

Didn't work
Worked for 1 day then the racoon might as well have been laughing at us, definitely returning for a refund.

VERY POWERFUL GARLIC REPELLENT
So we have a raccoon problem, there's a mulberry tree in our yard and they keep coming in, eating the berries, and then they poop everywhere on our property. It's so annoying, we even have a privacy fence all around and they still manage to get in! So we got this repellent, and so far it seems to be helping, they haven't gone near where we put the repellent as far as we know. I do have to say though this stuff is STRONG, it smells like garlic and when we first put it out our entire yard smelled like it, and we have a HUGE yard. After about a week the scent wasn't as strong but we could still smell it. But we've also noticed way fewer bugs since putting this stuff out because garlic also repels insects. I would advise buying two bags if you have a huge yard like us. It only comes with eight bags total per pack.

If I were a raccoon, these would work on me
Well, I HAD a family of raccoons in my attic. Heard scratching and went to investigate and saw babies moving. Ordered these immediately. These things smell so incredibly strong. I have a small attic (about 800 sq ft) and I decided to use all 8 of these at the same time. I think that was a mistake?Well, let me tell you, if I were a raccoon, these would deter me from coming back. Oh my effing lord. I only had these out for 18 hours before I needed to remove 6/8. I would’ve removed 8/8 but I couldn’t find or access where I threw the other two.I removed them early for two reasons. 1. I just couldn’t do it anymore. If you like the smell of garlic, you’ll be fine. I do not like the smell of garlic.2. The family left. Within 18 hours. Now it’s time to patch up the fascia where they entered so they don’t come back. They hate them just as much as I do.Overall, I’m just shocked at how horrible these smelled but how amazingly (fast) they worked. I must now hope the smell from the two I couldn’t find dissipates in a reasonable amount of time.
