Q: what is the light beam angle?

As GE replied the beam angle is 60 degrees, but there is a down side. The actual light bulb of this fixture is only 2" wide so the cast area is much smaller compared to many other similar grow lights which have a larger actual light bulb. Great fixture and better light (closer to sunlight than any other grow light bulb I have seen) but each bulb will max out at an 18" x 18" area. If you are just lighting one plant it is perfect but if you are trying to light a grow area, this is the downside.

Q: Has anybody found a good floor lamp that doesn't tip over with this bulb? I love the bulb but my lamp tips over.

Old question, but for a genuine floor lamp, I recommend this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0869M9M3R?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details The adjustments are toothy and grippy and can hold this bulb very effectively.
