Works pretty good, no cord is great, handy to have on hand.

Great product. Great price. Tool is easy to use. Great having a light on the front. Good for grinding large dogs toe nails. Not too heavy lightweight. Got it for my mother. I recommend this product to everyone.

As long as you pay close attention to the specs and differences, as Hardell does make several seemingly duplicate models that are slightly off in specs. I am a professional Master Gunsmith for a firearm manufacturer’s US factory, located in Jacksonville, Florida. I have always, and I still am, a big supporter of Dremel tools and products. I was in a bind, and needed a tool in a hurry, and an online retailer I won’t call out, but I’ll leave it open to guess, did not or could not fulfill my order for the newest, biggest cordless Dremel being made. Kind of strange, since they continued to show it available, just didn’t ship it for over two months, and after several emails…off subject-I’m not saying I’m ready to switch allegiance yet, but Hardell has earned a spot in my regular tool rotation. I wanted a brushless motor, that’s what I got. I wanted either replaceable batteries, or an easy method of charge, and this unit had that-in a type c charging cable. The unit came in a nice, small black zippered bag, which I liked, much more than the over sized gray plastic cases and over sized zippered cases of recent. And the tool I wanted was available, in the 8 volt size. This tool checked all the boxes. So it comes in within 2 days of order, NOT over two MONTHS later…and it performs great. I put it thru hell on earth, and it didn’t over heat and die, and the buttons have a perfect amount of recognition when you push them, you KNOW you pushed it. I eventually got the bigger rotary tool I had originally ordered, but I kept this tool on the bench next to the big boy, and sidelined two other units by the other brand, as this Hardell does the work of thd other two. Very durable, not too noisy, VERY easy to use, and at half the price for the equivalent unit from the other brand, it’s a great deal. If I had to complain about anything, it would be battery life. But it’s a minor thing, and if you remember to plug it in between jobs, that’s a non-issue. I will be considering the Hardell equivalent of the other brand I got, in the very near future. I always like to have a backup, but I don’t think I’m up to putting myself thru THAT again, so I’ll probably be buying another bigger (12v) Hardell cordless soon enough!!

I'm rating five stars based on my usage but I can't speak to battery life. I bought this to use on my friend's dog's thick nails. It worked beautifully, charged great, and filed and shaped pup's nails perfectly. It comes with a little zip bag for storage. My only minor complaint is that the tool doesn't really fit back into the bag unless you remove whatever tip is attached. It is very easy to use single handed, even to adjust speed. I use an older corded dremel at home and it's more unwieldy. Even after being on for 20+ minutes filing pups nails, the tool didnt get hot to hold or to the touch, it remained charged, and didn't take long to recharge.

The sandpaper part of the tool does not fasten. I’ve bought many different versions of these as a dog groomer that needs them for nail filing, and this is the cheapest and worst version I’ve used. Didn’t realize it didn’t work until after the return period had closed. Super frustrating

Worth the money, works great. Has the power, and the speed setting is great, thank you..

Not the best but decent. Doesn’t pack the power but great on light jobs
