I don't think I will ever buy ice cream again. Making your own ice cream is where it is at. I never knew making your own ice cream was so easy. I eat a lot so I do wish I had bought the larger unit and I might still do it. This unit makes about 1 large serving or 2 smaller servings. I like the fact that this unit is very quiet while going through the process. The entire process of making ice cream only take about 30 minutes. So it's pretty fast. At this size, it is easy to store away. Battery life is adequate. I have used my icecream maker 3x and have not had to recharge to this point. I guess best of all, this icecream make is easy to clean. This makes you want to use your ice cream maker. This ice cream maker has a quality design and it function well. To be able to make your own ice cream makes a great value in itself. It is fun for the kids and something you can do as a family.

Great little ice cream maker, only negative is it looks like stainless steel but outer part is plastic. I tried several recipes with cream but they tasted like whipped cream so I came up with a perfect recipe for coffee ice cream with chocolate chips. perfect! 1/2 cp cold milk, 1-2 tsp instant coffee, pinch of salt, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 3 tbsp sweet condensed milk, 1/4 tsp vanilla extract, 1 cup heavy cream. Mix refrigerate for 1 hr. Blend for 30 minutes. So good!
