Smooths old high-mileage engines
I've owned: 72 Ford Gran Torino (351C), 76 Mercury Capri (2.8L v6), 72 Chrysler New Yorker (440), 76 Buick Regal (GM 350), 83 Volvo 240DL (2.4L 4). Still drive: 63 VW Beetle (1600), 61 Dodge (225 slant 6), 89 Mustang (2.4L 4), 92 S10 (4.3L v6), 03 S10 (4.3L v6) and others. I've tried DuraLube, Slick 50, Prolong, Lucas, EngineRestore, zMax, Petron and several others. I'm convinced that regular oil changes and maintenance are the keys to getting past the 200k or 300k or 400k mark. My Volvo got me to 300k before I sold it to a friend who took it to 400k. Each of my other "old" vehicles has seen 200+. My current "newest" 4-wheeled commuter vehicle is 20+ years-old. All my "current fleet" are either near, at or above 200k (none have rebuilt engines and all that require them STILL PASS CA SMOG tests easily). I've used oil additives since my first vehicle in the mid 1980s and will continue to (**even in my brand-new vehicles, not listed, as well**). With so much information on the web about formulations and chemical compositions, I just say: Use what you feel has an effect on YOUR vehicle and don't be afraid to try anything different based on your own research. Petron seems to smooth out some noises in some of my old engines. Zmax seems to quiet down my newer engines. Lucas oil stabilizer quiets my oldest engines when I replace 1+ quart per oil change with it. The price of Petron has increased as of 2024 by 11 dollars from $34 to $45. It is approaching being to expensive for me but other products exist that have similar calming effects on old engines. Have fun and keep those ICE engines alive! Drive them--take care of them--maintain them!!

THIS STUFF WORKS!!!!!!
This stuff is truly amazing and works. I use it in every other oil change and get peace of mind each and every time.Do yourself a favor and check out the YouTube video titled "Best Oil Additive: Lucas Oil vs Slick 50 vs Duralube vs Zmax vs Petron Plus vs STP" and see the Petron Plus stress results at timeline 6:17. It's pretty amazing and hands down the best oil additive out there.Definitely worth the money to protect your engine. A++++++

Satisfied so far
I haven’t been running with it long, only on the second tank of gas. It seems that my mileage did improve about 6-8%. Another tank or 2 and I’ll know for sure, but all seems to be on the up and up.

THE BEST OIL ADDITIVE PERIOD!!!
I tried many oil additives for years until I watched some videos on YouTube that compared them all to each other, this one came out on top hands down!! Go watch them for yourself. I add a bottle with every oil change. If you’re trying to protect your engine and reduce wear to a minimum then this is the additive to get!!

Highly recomend
I believe this to be the only oil additive I've ever come across that actually works....it will increase your gas mileage without a doubt.Watch the comparison video on YT.First time I used on my used 2014 mazda 3 my mileage went from 26 mpg to 34 mpg...in 2 weeks after using it !

It made my car be more quiet
So far i am happy with this product. It brought down the sound of what a mechanic told me was my lifters. My mileage is about the same though and it is too early for me to see how much if any improve on oil consumption.
