I was determined to fit this in my house. We made sure it was securely hung into the roof rafters. I hang sheets and heavy wet clothes. They dry quick over night on this frame as heat rises. I have one with 6 slats to hang stuff on but I did put on elastic band on each end of the wooden slats as they slide around without this. The sturdiness of the frame is solid as the ends are thick wrought iron. There is lots of hanging space and removes the need for floor dryers. The weight is manageable when full as your pulling on the pulley to rise and drop. We have it tied to the side of a unit and it’s been perfect so far. Value for money is great as I hang wet towels over night then fluff them up in tumble for 5 so it’s cut tumble time. If this was to break tomorrow I’d be shocked but I’d have another on order immediately.

The quality is good and the six wooden bars are well finished. The cast iron is good solid stuff. It is quite heavy to pull up with wet clothes on it.It is really important to measure up well - a six bar rack is pretty wide- I should probably have ordered a four bar rack for a somewhat confined space, with three doors and a sloping ceiling to cope with !Unfortunately, the double pulley had fallen out of the pack during the journey to me, but the Monster Company did their level best to get a replacement sent to me in a reasonable time, and it did eventually arrive.They were good about returning emails promptly.It is good to be using the rising heat to dry clothes when they cannot go outdoors, and it certainly saves on tumble drying.

One star off because, as many reviewers have noted, the laths are not fixed in the brackets. Otherwise great for drying laundry.I originally wanted one of these but thought my ceiling too low so used other devices which didn't work well. On searching Amazon again for racks like this, I was surprised not to find any information in product descriptions or reviews about how far the lowest point of an empty rack is from the ceiling. Mine is 28 cm which leaves plenty of headroomTo fix the laths in the brackets, I tried cable ties, double sided tape and Blu Tack. Blu Tack was easiest and worked well enoughWhen the cleat is fitted to a plaster or plasterboard wall, the rope will eventually dig into the surface so a wall plate will be required to prevent that

Excellent Pulley.If your looking for a top quality Pulley then I highly recommend this one. I did a good bit of shopping around before finally buying this 2.4m Pulley. I’m using this along with a dehumidifier underneath it and its a great job and space saver. I had a bit of an issue with one pulley roller missing on delivery but I can say that the Customer Service after sales was second to none.Excellent product really strong highly recommend.

This is just what you need if you like me have no tumble dryer. My wee room is now free as my husband has retired so I can have a wee utility room.

You will need rubber grippers to avoid all of the slats falling out and hitting you on the head when trying to hang clothes up on it. Also, when following the spacing guide for the 140cm length, there’s no space to hang anything on the out edges of the slats as we were able to do with a previous pulley. A bit disappointed. We’ve separately ordered rubber grippers from a non Amazon company and they are on their way. They don’t come with the product - that would make a huge difference and very simple remedy. Will hopefully improve our drying experience.
