Love the scent and it keeps my newly installed carpet on my stairs safe from being scratched up.

My cats are notorious for being dicks. I did not want them taking turns clawing up my new chair, so I thought, let’s try this spray. I was happy to receive it quickly and went right to spraying my chair. I figured that was the end of it. Both cats walked up to said chair, rubbed up against the areas I sprayed, and went right back to clawing.

A little pricey, but promising. Interested to see if it works long term. I have a scratcher that only likes furniture. She has toys and posts and now an electric trimmer. She only likes my couches. The plastic works fine, but I don't love the look, so I'm excited to see if this spray will help break the rest of the furniture scratching so we can do away with plastic. The other reviews are promising, so fingers crossed the spray works and prevents long term. Short term she has greatly reduced the scratching where the spray is used.

You are supposed to spray 3x a day for a week, which seems like a lot. It concerns me that you are supposed to just keep spraying, but less, even after the first week. To be fair, I don't think I'll last a whole week. So far, so good though - hopefully I can break my cats' recent habit without forever spraying. The challenge is spraying it where I don't want them to claw, but not overlapping where I still want them to hang out. It has a strong, but not unpleasant scent (lemon verbena? citronella? not sure, but neither are on the ingredients list) for a few minutes after spraying, but it seems to dissipate soon enough.
