VERY pleased with how it turned out
I took my plain white boring interior door and turned into into a really nice piece of cottage-core. I am really shocked at how well this turned out. I was not sure that a plain, cheap door would turn out so well. The only thing I struggled with were the parts of the door that kind of sink in, the little ledge parts. But over all, it's really beautiful.I live in the southern US and in this summer heat each coat dried Really quickly, about 30 minutes between coats. That was a happy bonus to get this project done quicker.I bought the English Oak color and this is how it turned out on white. I also added and painted a little cat door just for fun. Thanks for taking my quiet crafting sancuary up a knotch!

Better than expected! Will absolutely buy again.
My photo doesn't do this product justice. I am normally really critical of my own work but I am so impressed with this paint and the way it turned out. I did 4 thin coats because I wanted to control the color. It looks better than I imagined. I'll be looking to more painting projects and excuses to purchase this product again.

Great kit!
Purchased English Oak. Looks great! The mit in the kit is terrible… just use the brush to create wood grain look. Also buy a wood grain stencil to make it look like real wood.

Worth it
Okay so yes. Get it. Love it. However! Don't follow the directions to a T. When doing the 2nd step maybe do the first step with the mit, but trust me.. use a bush (Not a roller) afterwards. That mit becomes impossible to use and a brush makes so much more sense and is WAY WAY easier to handle. I wish i didn't waste hours trying to use the mit because when I used a brush to finish small details I ended up using the brush on the whole door because it worked so much better. Hope this helps!

Great color! Easy to follow
Loved this! Used it for a wood dresser and it turned out so good, definitely made some mistakes but the instructions made it easy to follow!

Just follow the instructions, and don't do like some of the DIY videos
Very happy with this product. First time using this, and was very skeptical after reading reviews, looking at pictures, and watching videos. But we are very pleased with the outcome. I do not have a before picture, as I really thought this was going to turn out bad. It was a solid white door, with no grain. I followed the instructions and didn't have any problems. The hardest part was taping off and making sure everything was straight. There was only enough in the kit to do one side, but maybe that's in the description. The only thing you need that isn't in the kit is scissors to cut the tape straight and a roller pan. Just very time consuming, but we are happy with the results.1. Take your time when taping off and make sure it's straight. Tape off three rows of tape on the sides of the part you are using the mitt on in order to make longer, straight strokes without touching the other part you're not putting using the mitt on.2. The first coat of the stain where you are using the mitt is the most important. The lines made in this step will be the main ones you see in finished product. Make sure they are straight when you use the mitt.3. Follow the instructions exactly as they are.4. In between coats of the stain, wrap your paint tray with brush in plastic. This will keep it ready for the next coat. I did this door over a two day period, and the stain and brush were good to go on the next day by doing this.

Great Product 10/10!
This is amazing especially for the price. Follow the patterns of a natural wood door and watch the video. I did 3 coats of the English Oak and it’s perfect!

Worth every penny!
I Had been wanting to replace my front door with one that has glass to let more daylight into our living room. All the options I found were really expensive north of $1,500 to replace. So I searched FB Market place and found this old dinged up door for $75 right before the seller was going to take it to the dumpster. After hours of prep; I decided to oder this Wood look-alike product and it definitely surpassed my expectations! It looks awesome and it was easy to apply! Recommend! After everything I’m in $150 and a much better looking entrance!
