This book was my girls' favorite bedtime story when they were very small.

Cute book writing and picture wise, with an alright rhyme scheme. I bought as a gift for an infant and had intended it to be a book loved and read more independently, so I would probably have chosen something different had I known a few things: 1. I ordered the board book. I think I received the hard cover version (about 12"x8"). It has bendable card thickness fold out pages and kind of flimsy spine binding. The pages bulge and are warped with the thick cloth textures. 2. All the textures are the same, in different colors except for the lamb. They're all soft. 3. The final page is a Caucasian girl with a pink blanket. I don't mind, but if I was to choose something with a child in it as the only child character, I would have chosen something closer to the sex and race of the child I intended this purchase for.

I love the touch and feel books concept and this one is especially cute but the end featured a girl child and I wanted a less gender specific child for my gift. I kept the book, however, hoping that a girl baby will enjoy it. I went with another lamb themed book.

I used this book while raising my three children -- all adults now -- and they loved touching all the different animals. I thought it would be a perfect book for my niece's first baby.

This book was initially given to us as a gift for my son. He loves this book so much, that I bought it for my nephew, who is about 3 months younger than my son. When it arrived, it had a big line (almost like a cut/slice mark) across the front cover of the book (see photos), so I’m really not pleased with how it came to me. This was going to be a gift I give to my nephew for his first birthday, and I’m rather embarrassed to give it to him in this condition (as it’s supposed to be “new”). Otherwise, we really love this book.UPDATE: Upon closer inspection of this book, and comparing it to my son’s book, the wording of the inside of the book is slightly different. I’m not sure I understand why the change of wording. I find it really odd and a little suspicious. And after looking more closely on the cover of the book, it doesn’t have the author’s name anywhere on it (like it does on my son’s book: “Annie Alexander”); only the Illustrator’s name is on it. Is this legit or some kind of copycat ripoff?

Babies love this touch and feel book. Helped the kids I baby sit for learn their animals while also teaching them opposites

I recently bought this book as a gift for my 9-month old nephew, as my now 2-yr old son just loves a similar one-- Good Morning, Good Night. Unfortunately, that one was not available, but half of the book, in this version, Good Night, was available. It has been a staple in his ever-growing library, and one that he turns to very regularly. From being an inquisitive baby wanting to feel the animals, to a curious toddler who enjoys the story and anticipating the next page, it has been a winner. However, this board book is much smaller than I expected. Just sharing this note, as it was a gift and I felt that it was a bit small.

It's not the same as the original which my kids have memorized. Purchased this one because the older one was a HMD from their cousins amd pages were missing. Similar, but not exact. Still good tho.

A sweet little book, nicely illustrated.I came across a lady reading this book on the internet and decided to buy it... It is beautiful.The touch and feel parts are perfect for small children.My daughter is just 13 months and I look forward to many hours, cuddling up to read through the adventures of the animals in the stories.The colours are beautiful and stories simple.

Super süßes Gute-Nacht-Buch, ich schlaf selber immer bevor ich es fertig gelesen habe :-) Und es macht Spaß die Reime auswendig zu lernen.

The little people love this book even the ones that do not like to take an intrest in book the touching and feeling is a extra benefit.
