These things are good if you have a cheap crappy pipe or a glass pipe. They're not a very good fit for a normal Sherlock Holmes type pipe because the Sherlock Holmes should be able to filter out any weed that may come through. I don't think anybody smokes a pipe anymore unless they're smoking weed. It's a great pipe but you got to keep it clean or it gets like really tarry and you won't dig it.
