Was a perfect fit almost exactly a direct replacement!
So, my Tacoma has had a bad driver-side door locking solenoid for a while. Probably around 8 or so years. It worked, but it gave off a horrendous buzzing/grinding sound in addition to the horn chirp when armed or disarmed (locked/unlocked via the remote trigger). I've lived with this, somewhat embarrassing noise for a long time.Lately, the solenoid doesn't even want to fully disengage or engage the doorlock... which has left me in a strange predicament. The remote triggers the door locks and turns off the alarm but the doorlock is only out halfway, so I can't open the door. Repeated attempts don't work, but still has that loud buzzing/grinding sound each time an attempt is made, which makes it all the worse.I got these as they stated they were universal and came with hardware and a pack of two. 2 solenoids and hardware for each for under $9.00 USD? It was a no brainer. I'd make it work if worse came to worse.Imagine my delight when taking one of the solenoids out of the package and checking out how it would fit on my Tacoma.... it was an exact fit replacement. I mean, the actual solenoid unit/enclosure was almost identical to the one I was replacing! It comes with hardware for each unit, but I just used my existing hardware as everything was identical. I have brand new spares now.I took out the old one and put in the new one (had to solder exactly 2 wires) and presto magico! The doorlocks work, there is no horrible buzzing sound each time its locked and unlocked and I feel like i've actually accomplished something today!Works great, great price and easy to install. Unless this thing fails in the next couple of days... i'm 100% satisfied with these units. I even have an extra one just in case!

Nice Actuator Kit
This is a nice, basic actuator kit. I like the fact that it comes with two actuators. I'm planning to rig this up to make a homemade remote starter for my generator. Seems to be similar to the rest of the actuators in the same price range, but this kit comes with two. They both work, but haven't rigged one up yet or used them long enough to know how long they last. Either way, for the money seems to be a good option if you're looking to rig up a remote for your generator.

As expected, many options for different fitment.
The actuators installed and work exactly as I expected them to. Several different pieces allow for multiple fitment options. I would consider this to be a very good universal set of actuators.

Smooth, quiet, easy…
Okay, so I didn’t use these in my car. I was looking for a way to release the starting gate for a pinewood derby track and these actuators dropped and raised the gate perfectly! They function every time the switch is hit. Easy peasy and the price for two (just in case) can’t be beat!

Smooth, quiet
I used one of these to replace a unit I installed a year ago. The build quality is great for the price point. It works well, smooth function and is quieter than my last unit. When I have time I will be replacing the other old unit that hasn't failed so that I can have a quieter function all around. If I need more I would not hesitate to order these again.
