Look, this product smells like fish because it is extracted from the sea and when the fish eats this algae plant, then omega is produced in the fish. Now you guys understand why it smells like this. So do not buy any product based on someone's review, do some research yourself and then buy the product.Algae’s natural scent: The marine microalgae used (like Schizochytrium sp.) can have a naturally oceanic or sea-like odor—similar to fish oil since fish get their omega-3 from algae too.2. Please don't buy this product. I did buy it and regretted it instantly. The reason being that they provide a certificate for testing of heavy metals. I do applaud them for their transparency, but the results show it has lead less than 5ppm, Arsenic less than 3ppm, and Mercury less than 1ppm. These are deadly metals, and no amount of their presence is considered safe. I still don't understand why these metals would even exist in this product, let alone at a 5ppm threshold. There is no safe level of lead, which has been linked to developmental disorders, kidney problems and high blood pressure.Also, the product does smell like fish. It has a very heavy smell. Only buy if you can tolerate it.

Good supplement. I found this as something new in the market. I have been buying omega 3 for sometime now..and I can say I am happy I found an Indian company that is actually making quality product. I bought it at around 650 rupees..I was quite happy with this price. But it seems the price rose to 900 which is too high. I understand foreign company being costly for tax but I think around 600-700 justified it for being indian based. It seems to be making capsule with DHA and EPA in right amount which only a few other company mentions. Although they claim their genuineness with a report that shows no sign of heavy metals or harmful chemicals in their product but the report has no signature of authentication of some testing authority so I doubt it. If genuine I am happy that this product exists..but yes I will have to think twice because it is too costly now.
