S8 MS

I've been very pleased with this head unit. It is an excellent value and performance is outstanding. I installed this head unit in my 2003 Silverado 2500HD Duramax. I mention that specifically because the voice to text actually works in my truck with the built in microphone driving on the Interstate at 70mph. I have not yet installed the backup camera, dash camera or additional microphone. I just wired up the harness plug and mounted it in the dash. I've been driving the truck almost daily for the last 3 months because I needed it. I use the gps all the time to route around accidents and traffic congestion and because I don't always know where I'm going. I use the Wireless Android Auto feature most of the time. Boot up on the head unit is excellent. Wireless AA connect times are fair. I did have to reset the head unit once in the last month because it wouldn't connect wirelessly. My only complaint is with my truck not the head unit. I can't seem to find a place to pull voltage for the dash lights. The head unit has an auto dimming feature to reduce brightness when the headlights are on. You can do this manually on the head unit but I want it to be automatic. GM just doesn't supply that on a physical wire to the radio... it runs on the canbus.

I own a 2005 Chrysler 300, the factory radio recently went out on me. I have been looking at the ATOTO S8G2A74MS for some time, my vehicle has a cambus system which requires additional equipment (PAC RP4-CH11) in order to continue to use the original speakers and steering wheel controls. After installing everything I was unable to hear the caller using the blue tooth. I emailed tech support and received a reply the next day from Lancy. He instructed me to unpair and repair as well as do a reset on the ATOTO. I did just that and the problem still existed. I replied to the email stating that the problem still existed, Lancy replied the next day which stated that audio from the Bluetooth during phone conversations come from the front channels of the stereo. Once I read that I knew what the problem was, although the pac wiring harness requires you to wire all four channels left front right front left rear right rear, for some reason when connecting to the cambus it only uses the rear channels. There is actually audio from all four speakers however there is no front to rear fade. (The audio still sounds awesome) I simply reversed the front to rear wiring and I am now able to use the blue tooth. The unit came with a reverse camera which you can record and go live awesome feature. Was able to configure steering wheel controls to work with the help of the pac system. It comes with a sim feature for data and WiFi, I haven’t used it yet. I use my hotspot via cell phone works great, android auto, YouTube, Spotify, netflix and maps all work great. Can’t wait to try other features, I highly recommend this unit the customer service was awesome so far very pleased with the unit. ATOTO and PAC1 Systems great units. This radio is awesome, I have an other one ordered years ago for my wrangler and because of that I get this unit for my cherokee. They work and sound awesome the size is perfect to organize the wires behind and all the features it has can't complain at all .even the remote control design is more than perfect the only thing is didn't like much hasn't a paper catalog sorry but for me is better to read take notes on that so if I ever need to do something I won't forget because is written on the book what ever I did . VERY RECOMMENDED BRAND 💯 LOVED IT 😍

I had a unit from 2018 and the UI was WAAAAY better than this new version. I would still be on the old unit if bluetooth hadn't stopped connecting. The way the subwoofer was handled was also much better. Overall fairly disappointed with the new UI and overall design of the newer units.

I was having a hard time connecting with android auto. Figured it out. Atoto contacted me fairly quick after I finally got it but I do appreciate them getting back to me. That's costumer service. Works good so far. The audio isn't the greatest but not bad for the price.

Can't give much of a review still trying to get hooked up in my miata. Didn't get a manual. Everything far as parts look fine. But still don't know yet.
