They're extremely soft and the color is gorgeous. I would say a little more purple and less pinkish than the picture. The fitted sheet fit my mattress perfectly. They were VERY wrinkled after drying so you might have to iron them, especially the pillow cases. No problem for me, though. The pillow cases fit my queen size pillows perfectly and don't slide up the pillow during the night while you're sleeping. Great quality set of sheets for the price!

I'm quite surprised given most of the other positive reviews saying how soft they are, although there was one from a few months ago that had the same experience I did. I've had 1000 count Egyptian cotton sheets before, and have loved them b/c they are super soft. Unless it is possible that I somehow got a "bad batch", and others that most people get are actually soft like typical Egyptian cotton, I would recommend against purchasing. If they were soft I would love them, the color is gorgeous (color I got was "blush"). But they are scratchy, I put the pillowcase up to my face and it is obvious it would not feel good to sleep on at all. Extremely disappointed, will attempt to return.

They’re nice sheets, comfortable but as someone who has slept on real 1000 count Egyptian cotton, these do not have that same quality thickness, softness and likely not the same durability.Also the pillowcases are probably 400 thread count because they do not look/feel like the same material as the sheets.

I noticed many reviewers commented that the sheets are not as soft as would be expected for 1000 TC cotton sheets, so I wanted to write a review about my experience.Most manufacturers add a starch to the sheets to keep them wrinkle-free in package. This starch makes the sheets feel rough and not very soft. The trick to removing this is by adding baking soda to the wash cycle and vinegar to the rinse cycle when you first wash the sheets. Afterwards, they can be washed as normal. The baking soda and vinegar help to remove the starch more quickly. Washing sheets will remove the starch over time, but you could be sleeping in what you might consider "rough" sheets for a couple of months before it all washes out. Baking soda and vinegar on initial wash speed up the process.Anyway, my sheets are so soft that I don't even want to get out of bed in the morning. Don't be concerned about the quality--these are great. I'm planning on purchasing another set.

Sheets are soft but pillowcases are very small and DO NOT FIT standard size pillows. I didn’t realize this until after I washed new sheets and tried to use them.
