Yocisku Tea Tree Hair Dye Shampoo 3 in 1, Gray Hair Coverage - works surprisingly well
I'd say my hair is greying for the last 5-7 years, not too grey but kind of greyish black. As you can see in the before picture, it looks kind of dull greyish before the shower. I don#t like the dull part. I tried some natural dyes and these dying soap bars supposed to remove the dullness, but nothing really works. I am a big fan of all things tea tree oil. including mouth wash, shampoo and so on, so I gave this a shot.Well, it works fantastic, and even a bit too good...lol. I just put like 4 squeezes on my dry hair on top and parts of the sides, and the second pictures shows how it looks in the morning. Lighting is different in daylight, but if you zoom in ALL the grey on top is gone. Fortunately, I didn't do the complete sides, otherwise it would look obviously dyed. I still try to wrap my head around the fact that it just turned the clock back like 7-10 years..lolSo while this says tea tree oil, it seems tea tree oil is just what they call a trace ingredient amongst some other plant ingredients, but then again it doesn't need much tea tree oil to do the good deeds.. In the end it is still one of these two component hydrogen peroxide things that usually make a mess in the bathroom. The genius of this here is that they designed it like an epoxy glue two component system, basically you mix the components while you apply it. Pretty cool, and worked, to my surprise, without any mess, and without black ears or hairlines (that my wife used to have). Make sure to clean the dye of, if it gets to places it doesn't belong, though. It's a big bottle so it might last me like several years, Not sure yet how long each treatment lasts, but I'd say, in my case, it might be several months. I think this is my new gold standard for covering grey hair. Still have to get used to the new me...I might get ideas now..lol.

Very harmful and chemical based ingredients
I am returning this package immediately as it didn’t disclose any of the harmful ingredients it contains. Here are harmful ingredients and its impact on the skin.Harmful Ingredients & Their Effects:1. Phenylene Diamine (PPD)• A common hair dye ingredient but highly allergenic.• Can cause scalp irritation, redness, itching, and severe allergic reactions.• Long-term use is linked to hair damage and weakening.2. Resorcinol• Can cause scalp irritation, redness, and burning sensation.• May disrupt the endocrine system, affecting hormone balance.• Prolonged exposure can lead to hair thinning and breakage.3. Toluene-2,5-Diamine Sulfate• Another strong dyeing agent that can irritate the scalp and cause allergic reactions.• Linked to hair dryness and weakening over time.4. Ammonium Hydroxide• Helps in opening hair cuticles to allow dye penetration, but it also strips natural oils from the hair.• Can lead to dryness, breakage, and overall weakening of hair strands.5. Hydrogen Peroxide• A bleaching agent that removes natural hair color and can make hair more porous.• Frequent use can lead to hair brittleness and increased damage.6. Sodium Sulfite• Used as a preservative but can cause scalp irritation.• Can weaken hair structure if used excessively.7. Mink Oil & Mineral Oil• May coat the hair and scalp, leading to buildup and preventing proper hydration.• Over time, this can make hair appear dull and weigh it down.Less Harmful but Still Concerning:• Isopropanol Amine – Can cause dryness and irritation.• Stearyl Trimethylammonium Chloride – Found in conditioners but can cause buildup over time. Conclusion:This hair dye shampoo contains several strong chemical dyes and processing agents that can cause scalp irritation, hair dryness, and long-term damage if used frequently. The most concerning are PPD, Resorcinol, Ammonium Hydroxide, and Hydrogen Peroxide, which can be very harsh on hair and the scalp. If you have sensitive skin or scalp, it’s best to use a milder, ammonia-free, and PPD-free hair dye alternative.

Blended in well
The smell, it’s got this refreshing, earthy tea tree scent that’s not overwhelming but definitely noticeable. The texture felt like a regular shampoo, which threw me off at first since I wasn’t sure how well it would actually color my hair. I followed the directions, lathered it in, and let it sit for a bit longer than usual just to make sure it would take. When I rinsed it out, I was honestly surprised at how natural my hair looked. The black color blended in well with my natural hair, and the grays were definitely toned down without looking overly dyed or harsh. It didn’t leave my hair feeling dry or brittle either, which is usually my issue with other dye products. I’ve washed my hair a few times since, and the color hasn’t faded out as quickly as I expected, so that’s a plus. My hair feels soft, and I don’t get that weird dye smell afterward that some products leave behind.

Did the patch test. It dyed my hair nicely.
I did a 48-hour patch test. I was fine but towards the end, I could feel some itchiness, although my skin wasn't swollen. When I spread the hair dye shampoo, I felt sone tingling sensation. I think I poked my scalp with the brush I was using to spread the dye! After washing off the dye, my hair was nicely dyed and my scalp was not red or itchy. I am very happy with the result, especially because with the last two hair dye shampoos that I tested, I had allergic reactions, so I hadn’t dyed my hair for over three weeks.

Eh....
It's a genius idea...all in one bottle. Hair color on one side, developer on the other. A little less messy and nice you have a lot of product to work with, but made my hair feel very dry and it was supposed to dark brown but came out red?!? Probably wouldn't order again. Plus what happens if you run out while youre in the middle of coloring your hair? Norway to know how much is left.
