Problem solved
I had a problem with the signal at the far end of my Garden, and although my garden is maybe 50m in length, as i had Gateway in the conservatory, the heat reflective glass which contains a fine metal mesh, was attenuating the signal by quite a lot, however once I installed the extender just outside the conservatory, the issue was resolved and the signal level at the far end of the garden went from 40% to 90% signal level
