I bought both the Velcro splint and the. I need my thumb to grip my mouse at work but I need it splinted also to let trigger thumb heal. Those splint works better because it actually allows a tiny bit of flex on the finger but stabilizes it enough to keep the tendon from popping. If you want a complete stabilization, the Velcro splint might work better, although it’s difficult to use a mouse with if you need to.

Unbelievably helpful. If you have any finger pain at all and you think you don’t need them, try it anyway and see if it helps. You can look online and see which placements are best for you, but I just got a bunch of sizes and found what felt the best. Now I wear them daily

The splints work but recommend ordering the multipack because they run small. Also a bit long for a thumb but still work. Would be nice if they were covered in a rubber or silicone cover but then they probably wouldn’t slide on. Also came with a curly plastic cord and no clue what that is for

Well made little plastic things. Able to determine correct size. Smooth and firm enough.

These are great if you need a very simple splint to keep a finger straight in some circumstances. They're washable, so I did use them for things like cooking. The size selection was good. They very low-profile, so slimmer than other splints, and relatively comfortable. I only gave them 3 stars because they just didn't fit my needs, and I ended up buying some soft splints for more stability.
