Great tool specially considering the price.

This is working great so far. Really accurate

I really like the compact size and it feels to be a solid build. I don’t need a measure with a bunch of functions, so this one suits my needs sufficiently and the interface is easy to learn and use. There are three things, however, that I don’t care for: 1) It only measures in decimals, so you have to convert to inches yourself. 2) The beeping is pretty loud and cannot be turned off. 3) The backlight is very bright (a pro), but it stays on the whole time when connected to a charging cable. I put the device to charge overnight, and came back in the morning and the light was still on. I really like how the laser measure works and feels, and I wish I could keep it, but the three issues mentioned above make this one a return for me.

Laser measuring has certainly come a long way in a few short years. I had a brand-name laser measurer about 8 years ago that was so chronically inaccurate, I threw it away. Seeing how affordable this unit was, I had doubts, but so far, I am thoroughly impressed. It couldn't be more simple to use - all of the measuring modes give clues on screen. The accuracy is the most impressive part - I've repeated multiple measurements, over 100 feet, and compared to physically measuring with a tape, and this thing is dead-on accurate every time. The green laser makes it much easier to see - in daylight, I have no problem seeing it at 100 feet or more. If I'd know these things were so reliable now, I would have switched much sooner.

Veryfrustrated by this. Everything about it is excellent except for one flaw which is unfortunately so big that it makes it unusable. The readings this machine displays are in decimal form. You will get readings such as 9.347 feet., or 369.36 inches these types of measurements are very difficult to actually use though because when you take them back to your saw to cut the appropriate piece of material or when you go to buy the appropriate size window for the gap you just measured you have to first do a conversion to figure out what fraction of an inch these decimal measurements equates to. There are no rip scales or tape measures, or product measurements which use decimals, they all use fractions such as 10-1/4" or 15' 7-3/8" for example. I guess if you like doing math or have a ton of free time on your hands this isn't a problem as these conversions can be done with calculators or on your smartphone but for people who don't like doing that or for contractors who's time is money this is not good

It’s not the amazing laser, first one was broken, but for rhe price we can’t expect much.
