This set makes smaller gauge jewelry changes MUCH easier a task. I used to have to go to my piercer whenever I wanted my nostril piercing jewelry changed since I have a uniquely thick nostril wall that requires using a taper with jewelry following through, but now I don't need to and can do it myself. Also if I decide to leave my lip rings out for a bit this makes getting them back in after the piercing tunnel has shrunk so easy and painless compared to forcing my jewelry through and pissing them off for a couple days. If you have issues changing out your piercing jewelry or have to take your jewelry out often and forget to put it back in (raises hand), this is a very useful taper set.

Seriously awesome, exactly what I needed! Love the variety of the different pieces. I had ordered some new jewelry and couldn’t change them out myself for the life of me. I went to one shop and paid a reasonable price for them to do a jewelry change however could have saved myself a time and money had i known about this sooner. I had some other pieces that delivered after my first shipment of jewelry and went to two more piercing places that I was in the area of and they wouldn’t do it because I didn’t buy jewelry from them or get my piercings from them which was honestly ridiculous. Anyhow, this kit is perfect, so easy to do, anyone can do it. I even had some pieces that were oddly shaped and the claw grabber gripped it nicely. You do have to be careful depending on the shape or how small as the claw part can pull the decorative jewelry piece into itself if not careful but you can easily use your fingers to adjust before allowing full grip and lock. Overall highly recommend, so happy I don’t have to pay someone to do it or travel anywhere to change out my jewelry. Came with a cute little compact case too that I can easily carry in my purse. 10/10

Works for its purpose!

This product saved me so much time and frustration. I wish I bought it sooner it’s worth the cost 10x over!! I spent over an hour yesterday trying to get my septum bead in and came to Amazon desperate for something to help. This arrived in the mail today and I was able to get the bead screwed on in literally under 5 seconds. If you have piercings and you’re questioning getting this, trust me and just do it!

This is amazing. I wasn’t sure how it would work on cartilage, but I pierced my tragus with this little piercing kit and I did a great job. It was painless and super quick. You really don’t have to apply much pressure to make it work. I will absolutely be buying more.

The top part screws off when trying to put on piercing ball which is annoying but still does the job

I’m annoyed I didn’t know this type of tool existed earlier. I spent an hour trying to get the ball back on a 16g horseshoe septum barbell and just couldn’t do it. I have small hands (like 4.25 ring size) and I couldn’t keep the minuscule ball (with a ridiculously tiny pin) from twisting in my fingers and I kept dropping it. (Great cussing ensued.) With this, I got the ball on and mostly tightened (finished tightening with my fingers) in about 3 seconds! I could’ve saved myself 59 minutes, 57 seconds and a great deal of angst if I had bought this sooner. I will say it looked like the ball was maybe too pulled in (?) to the stem of the tool for me to be able to get the pin into the horseshoe but with a magnifying mirror it was no problem and I could see it was not an issue that the pin didjt really stick out past the prongs.

I should have bought this ages ago! It made it SOOO EASY to change my jewelry! Such a good value for the price. If you use flat back earrings INVEST. You won’t regret it. 10/10 product.
