Perfect for emergency use
Sometimes I leave the house and forget my Bluetooth buds. I keep a wired headset in the car just in case and use this adapter for the new phones that don't have headphones connectors. A cheap and functional solution.

Recently got a new phone a lot of the Samsung phones are doing away with earphone jack ..This works well for this purpose I guess I'm old school I don't like Bluetooth headphones and Bluetooth devices after all drain your battery life from your phone ..

best way to update your wired headphones.
Since so many products got rid of the 3.5 headphone jack this was the answer to being able to use my wired headphones and ti plug into the aux in the car. They don't last forever but it seems the lest bending and moving around the cable has to do the longer it will last but the sound fine and are cheap enough that its not a big deal if I have to buy a pair every six months or so.

Incompatible with apple products
On apple products (iphone, ipad), the volume control functions only at full volume or off, nothing in between. This is a design defect because it acted the same on multiple apple products and acted the same on the other adapter. Afterwards I bought an apple adapter and it worked just fine. I do not know if it only works with android OS, but it doesnt work with apple products.
