I searched top rated cooling dog vests and this one came up as being number 3. I didn't want to spend more than $40 so I decided on purchasing this one.My pup is a golden aussie, so I originally ordered a medium. It was too small. So I ordered a large and it fit great. It was snug around his armpits though. However, he was able to move as normal. The material is soft and lightweight.The temperature was over 90 degrees and my poor guy gets real hot real fast and I didn't want him to be miserable. I dumped some lake water on him and he stayed cool for hours. The top dried out after an hour but the inside stayed cool.Definitely worth it.

Medium fits my ~30lb French bulldog. Works great at keeping my dog cool. Normally he pants a lot when he plays with his ball or when we take him out for a walk. But with the vest on, no panting. Should’ve gotten him one sooner.Only con is there is a black string on the bottom of the vest that you can pull to make it more snug - it keeps rubbing on his p****. I may just cut it off.

Love this vest for our Frenchie! The medium fits perfectly, it’s easy for him to move in and it looks great too. We wet it, then put in fridge for extra cooling protection and it stays cool for a while. The durability is great and Velcro stays closed. We went with light gray, it looks good and stays cool.

Normally don't write reviews but I had to for this product.I have a 30lb labradoodle when even with his seasonal haircut to help with the heat here in Chicago, he gets hot very easily. We have the first heat wave of the summer with temperatures in the mid 90s and we usually have to wait until night or early morning to walk the dog.Just got back from our first walk with the vest in 92 degree weather that lasted approximately 30 minutes and the vest clearly worked! Even in low 80 degree weather, my dog would immediately starting panting within 5 minutes but he was only slightly panting by the end of the walk! We even were able to throw the frisbee and have him run around for 10-15 minutes in the backyard after the walk. With what would be impossible to go walk and then play in the yard in this weather in the past, we can finally be less stressed in hot weather knowing the dog is more comfortable. The inside stay cooled when I took the vest off even though the top was almost dry.Would suggest putting vest in fridge for 15-20 minutes or 2-3 minutes in the freezer before going outside to boost the vest's effects!Very happy with this purchase.

Like the fit and easy zipper. Wet and freeze for 10 min. Works well at first. In the 80s temp, dries up in 15 minutes. So offers short relief.

The media could not be loaded. I’m writing this review after purchasing my first cooling vest from this brand a year ago for my dog Rhea who was ~50 lbs at the time. She is half Husky (with a water-proof, double coat) and part Rottweiler (giving her the classic rottie black color with tan eyebrows). Her cooling vest lasted for the entire summer before she grew out of it. Recently I bought Rhea, now 70 lbs, a size XL as well as a XXS for my new, 6 lb, chihuahua foster named Midnight who is also black. The XXS fit Midnight perfectly everywhere except the chest which was just a teeny bit tight. I exchanged for an XS however the size difference was significant, with the XS completely covering Midnight’s underside giving no space for him to pee hygienically. Because I have seen just how much this cooling vest made a difference for Rhea in the past, I decided to take the slightly too large XS to a tailor who was able to shorten the underside of the vest giving him ample room to relieve himself and mark trees to his hearts content.I just got back from walking them both in SLC, UT in extremely dry, 87 degree weather for 45 minutes. Both my pups were so happy and comfortable for the entire walk. When we got to the park I submerged both their vests in a nearby stream before getting them both dressed. I really love how easy this vest is to put on a dog. Rhea, my larger dog HATES clothes of any kind so I especially appreciate that I can distract her long enough for her to unknowingly step into the arm holes just in time for me to pounce and zip the rest of the vest up. As soon as she has her vest on though, you can immediately tell it makes a difference. I no longer worry about heat stroke and as a very dedicated dog owner with a limited budget, that peace of mind is worth far more than this products asking price.
