What an incredible Metropolitan Museum publication of their extraordinary and timely exhibition Superfine. The book is beautifully produced with pages and pages of glorious photographs accompanied by informed scholarly essays. The exhibition is complex and showcase a wide variety of the fashions of Black men from diverse socioeconomic and sociopolitical backgrounds. The exhibition captures significant cultural and visual details which are elegantly and explicitly shown in this publication.

Don’t pay attention to the one bad review which is clearly an Amazon shipping error. This book is one of the most stunning exhibition catalogs the Met has ever done.

I won’t be able to get to the exhibition and this is a great substitute. Well written with good pictures.
