My dusty Honeywell is long for due for changing new filters. The indicator turns red so hop on amazon and got this filters.All filters are pretty pricey so I look for best pricing and decent reviews seller and go for it.Very easy to replace filters and toss the old ones.Make sure you need to reset red indicator on your machine other wise red indicator stays on.

I was hoping to write a great review since I loved the fact that I could get all the filters in 1 box for my Honeywell Air purifier. Sadly, the filters inside the box were damaged and bent. At first I had believed it was the shippers fault but this looks like it could possibly be a quality control issue since both the shipping box and the items box were in perfect condition.I tried the filters to see if they fit well and they fit in the air purifier perfectly however unfortunately because they are bent, they leave rather large gaps for particles to get through, thus making the point of having a purifier almost useless.Outside of that issue though, these filters definitely seem good compared to the actual Honeywell Filters. They may be a bit lighter but feel about the same and I am sure they would work great had they not been damaged. Also, big plus, they don't have any chemical odors like some filters have when they're brand new.Hopefully we can do a hassle free replacement and once that happens I'll update on the effectiveness of these from Altec.

Order was received in a timely manner but was short two items. The ad and the box that arrived said it included 4 pre-filters. There were only 2 pre-filters in the Altec Filters box. Thus, I did not get everything I paid for.

The filters are a tiny bit too big.. this causes the edge to warp and air can get around, defeating the purpose. I stuffed some folded paper into the edge of the filter to push it back into shape, and that fixed the problem. So for $20 less than the VEVA brand (which fit perfectly) I can make these work... not sure which I'll reorder

These are easy to install without instructions, and when I run the machine all day the air is crisp and clean. I don't normally run it all day to try to minimize how many times I need to purchase these, but I run it when I'm cooking and it helps reduce the time the aromas linger. I gave it four stars instead of five because I thought it would help prevent dust buildup, but maybe I was wrong to expect that? I don't know.

The filters fit snugly so therefore no rattling. I like the the tabs as it makes it easy to pull out the dirty filters to replace with new ones. I also appreciate the extra charcoal filters that come with them and that it all arrives in it's own little presentation box.

Snug fit so easy to install and appears to be quality product that with 2 dogs it rarely is off. We run it 24hrs a day since we purchased the unit which we do have to clean once a month mostly from the build up of dog hair and dander turns the washable filter white. We purchased this unit aprox. a year ago.

Anyway, great deal at 69.99.Edit: Since I posted this review the price increased substantially and it's no longer as great of a deal.This pack of filters is a fantastic deal compared to buying them separately. The HEPA filters fit perfectly and are indistinguishable from the original other than the marking.The pre-filters are cut but folded in the box, which is a bit of a bummer. They're similar but not exactly the same as the original filters. They're a bit thinner and lighter than the original pre-filters, maybe about 80% the thickness. Otherwise they are adequate.But really buy this box for the HEPA filters, the pre-filters are just a bonus. Huge cost savings over buying the Honeywell branded ones.

I like the quality of these replacement filters over other brand replacements. The Honeywell carbon replacements are junk and the Honeywell "True HEPA"(i.e. not real HEPA) filters are ridiculously overpriced. This kit comes in a nice box to store any extras although I think Altec can do a better job by rolling the carbon filters rather than folding and squishing them into the box.

The Honeywell filter replacements are extremely overpriced and I don't understand why. It's nice to have a company like Altec that makes a product that is more affordable...although I still think all filters could be cheaper. :) I've given it 4 stars because the 3 hepa filters do fit, but are a little snug compared to the original; you have to really push them in until they fit perfectly. It also looks like the hepa filters are thicker between each fold. I'm not sure if this would make the machine work harder, but it seems to be running smoothly. The charcoal filters are the perfect size! You don't have to cut them to size like the Honeywell replacements and are way better quality (5 stars). Thanks!

My filter kit arrived on time. I ordered it because I thought my carbon filter was in need of replacement. I have had the air purifier for over a year and I vacuum the pre filter weekly along with the hepa filters. I thought the hepa filters were relatively clean by their appearance. I have noticed that the air purifier seemed loud. I looked online to see if there was an reliable way to tell if I should change the hepa filters right now, but really the only information indicated that this should be annually. I decided to change out all the filters. On observation, it was clear the new filters were whiter, but the old ones just didn't look all that dirty. Once I installed the filters and turned the unit back on I was amazed at how quiet the air purifier was. Clearly, the old filters were clogged and were making the unit work much harder. The new hepa filters fit well, but were a bit snugger fit than the originals. I don't like the fact that the carbon prefilters are folded in the packaging as that makes them a little bit harder to install. In any event that went well also. I have added 'change the filter' dates to my calendar so that I can make sure that I stay on top of things. We keep the air purifier going 24/7 all year. As you can tell my first impression is that this is a great product and a much better price than purchasing from Honeywell.

Product is as advertised. The price is right. Slight chemical smell from factory packaging as expected. Off gassed overnight and the smell is gone within 14 hours. Something you should do with all products from China.Will def. buy again.
