I love both the flexibility and robustness of the velcro seal. And I'm sure writing on them would work fine - although my first attempts were a bit illegible. So having a simple label printer, I now use small labels on them instead. Works really well, and super-convenient when you have to move things around, like I'm doing at the moment as I'm re-organising my home office. Certain LAN cables need to be replaced with longer ones - so swapping over the tags from one to the other is a breeze, and the clarity at the switch is still perfect. Highly recommended.

I got these for labeling cords. Easy to use hook and loop design. Label with a sharpie and you’re done. Slightly larger than need be but is hook and loop so you’re limited with thickness. Not bad though. Very useful.
