Worth the price and good quality on delivery; keeping it alive/beautiful is on you.
UPDATE: 9/1/23It’s been over a month now and the rose has given 3 new additional blooms. They are very pretty and truly change color as they blossom. From yellow/white to red to pink. The blooms are on the smaller side but I can imagine how pretty it will look once it’s reached it’s full height and blooms all together.Recommended!———Okay, so here is my use case:(1) I have a pergola with a jacuzzi in the middle. I wanted climbing roses to cover the top of the pergola instead of installing some sort of shade.(2) I planned to install 2 St. Joseph's Coat climbing roses onto either side of the pergola(3) The first one was purchased from Napa valley and driven all the way back home(4) The second one was ordered from amazon (this one)So now, as to the quality...(1) It was delivered while I was out of town; I wasn't able to open it for 2 days and yet it was still doing fine in the box under the sun (10/10)(2) I instantly planted it where I wanted it to go and was monitering it and watering it every day (CA 90• weather)(3) It took 3 weeks to blossom a flower (July - August of 2023 in CA) and speaking specifically to the description of the listing it is exactly as described.COMMENTS:- As far as the quality of the plant goes, it's 10/10 with no complaints.- Now.. this could be my soil's fault, my fertilizer wasn't enough, ect. but the colors of the roses aren't as vibrant as pictured nor do they last as long before withering. HOWEVER... that could be my fault and not the fault of the bush itself, so I'm not counting that against it.OVERAL:- I have to give it 5/5 stars, it's alive and it is a St. Joseph's Coat and it is climbing. In terms of quality of the blooms that's probably on me/you.

It’s bloomed already! Update: Buyer Beware
UPDATE:Seller did not stand by the integrity of their product. I bought the rose last year and it did not rebloom. Blooming only once does not indicate a quality product. I trusted this seller and believed they would stand by their product. They told me they would only honor a replacement if it was within Amazon’s 30-day policy. There is no way to know if a rose will survive in 30 days, especially when you are receiving it as a small plant. The seller could have honored their own promise of a healthy rose. I cannot in good conscience recommend this seller to anyone.——->Original post:I didn’t expect it to bloom until next year. I planted this rose bush this summer in June and already have this lovely bloom three months later. Very nice looking. I can’t wait until next spring to see how much more it grow.

Joseph's Coat climbing rose
This rose is sending up new shoots and has a lot of leaves. I am so pleased with this healthy climbing rose!It is a replacement for the same type of rose, a Climbing Joseph's Coat that I had in my yard for years. That one died and I was so upset!I am so thankful that I have been able to find another rose of the same kind. Thank you! Thank you! ❤️

Growing like a weed.
This rose bush, Joseph's Coat, arrived in 2 days and in great shape. I have had it for less then a month and it has doubled in height and has its first bloom already. I don't even have it planted outside yet because we have been in a heat spell now. I have had it in my kitchen window and I am watering it every day. This is the 3rd rose bush I have purchased from the same supplier and it is by far the hardest one. FYI: all of the other bushes are still alive and only one of them was worrying me but I have had it about 2 months and it is doing well now. Don't hesitate to buy from these growers.

Lovely Rose
I've had this in the ground in a partially sunny location. It has taken the better part of a year to actually produce anything at all. The first year, it just stayed the same...barely alive. At the end of the 2nd summer, it has started to come alive and has grown to about 4'. It's still not as hearty as I'd like it to be, but I think this next year, it will come into its own. Lovely, long-lasting blossoms. Infrequent bloomer.Big Rudy

One's healthy the other not so much
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I purchased 2 of these roses. One is doing very well but the other was not as healthy when it first showed up at my door. The other one has tons of leaves and bud on it while the unhealthy one finally got it's first leaf. I'm hoping it will start to grow...

Beautiful and Hardy- second spring
Photos are from the second springtime for this beautiful rose. We planted it in the fall of 22. Year one it was beautiful but had really taken off in this second springtime. I pruned moderately for shaping in the early spring. The blooms that face more direct sun have a deeper pink color, and those that are shaded by its foliage are yellow. Coloring changes throughout the age and placement of the bloom, and as a bonus, when I deadhead the faded blooms I give them to my chickens :). The scent is seems stronger than last year’s blooms but it is probably due to the increased volume. This rose does have aggressive thorns, so gauntlet gloves are necessary for really reaching into the plant to prune or tie for directing its growth.
