I use these for marking laminated maps when hill walking. They are excellent for this: no runs or streaks, nice fine points for accurate marking and they will work in the rain. [You do need to dry-off the part of the map you are intending to write on]. Getting the marks off again afterwards is fairly easy. I use isopropyl alcohol, but only because I have it around anyway. Some folk use the alcohol wipes used for pre-injection skin cleaning [nice and portable]. I know one guy who uses Old Spice aftershave, but he’s a bit sad anyway. And the price at which these were offered is a bargain.

A handy pen for writing on freezer bags. We use them often and they have lasted well.

Got this to label my burned CDs, but they work fine writing on paper too, so the pens are quite versatile. I like the variety of colours allowing me to colour-code them, and the material is good because it doesn’t smudge or damage the CDs in any way and the ink dries quickly. The nibs are thin which allows for precision while writing. They are a little pricey, but worth it.
