It's suitable only for small tear up to 4mm wide. For best results, apply the tape from both the sides of the mesh. Because the tape itself also is a kind of mesh, the stickiness of glue is on either side of the tape which makes it difficult applying the tape with bare hands. I used tapes protective layer to apply it, which worked well. Also, over the period of time it will catch dust due to the glue and you might have to replace it. Chances are yiu will do more damage to the mesh while trying to remove it. So in short use it for small damages only. Price is a bit on higher side compared to the length of the tape I received. Also all of these tapes available on Amazon are China made which come in a transparent plastic pack without any branding, so I believe there should be no difference in quantity. Hence dont go for good ratings and higher price. Just by whichever is cheapest
