Windsock Arm

Prevents tangling of windsock on pole... Great solution..

I was hoping it would have a longer arm, because I had bought a lantern wind sock that would need the extension. I haven't tried it yet, but bought a smaller nylon wind lantern and am waiting for it to come. I think that the arm will not fall off of a hanging sock that won't pull up or sideways in stronger winds. I'll have to see. A big bird or fish may be a problem in the wind.

The metal curled end needs to be squeezed together with a pair of pliers to ensure your kite's or windsock's string won't slide off. The plastic end where the rod goes in, needs to be glued with epoxy or it will slip off during heavy wind. I also had to epoxy the metal arm where it connects as the cap that holds it on will slip off too. Make sure if you glue it or epoxy it, that the arm can continue to spin freely.

Snapps off in any wind thats more than a mile or so per hour!
