Awesome! A sluice I can fold up and fit in my backpack. Kind of.Bad:-V-mat at the head of the sluice was not cut to the proper size or glued in very well. Fine sands and gold would get caught between the V-mat and the sides of the sluice. Also the mat began to pull away from the sluice body after a short time of use.-Main ramp riffels have gaps along the edge where they meet the sides of the sluice allowing water currents to move through, encouraging gold blow-out and loss.-Wingnuts that hold the sluice open are not enough to keep it open, and the sluice will often began to collapse from the water weight moving through it. Adding washers will help a lot.Good:-The green felt fabric under the miners moss does seem to help catch fine gold.All in all built poorly with low grade materials Expect to work on and/or modify it to improve its performance.

Product came on time. It looks fine however the description for it says it comes with a free digital scale, which i did not receive. This is the second time a amazon order was missing an extra fee item in the order. They should check that. Also one wing nut was missing.

Had to fix the rubber mat before I even used it. Other than that it's ok for the price.

Thought was good but as soon as it is in the water it starts buckling . I tried tightening the bolts all the way down but it cintinues doing the same thing.

wont stay flatriffles are so loose that there is about 3/16" between the sides and the riffles, gold would fly right by them.expanded metal is bent and very cheap - i will be replacing the mat and the riffles with riffle-less mat.I also reinforced the sides adding aluminum flat bar so it is no longer a backpack sluice. It is way to flimsy to be a back pack sluice and the way it is set up i think you would be lucking to catch 50% of any gold you ran thru it.Very disappointing...but i need it right away so had to hurry to make it into something useful..additional cost to do that i estimate at about $90.00Wish i would have ordered something different but didn't have the time to do that.

Use this after the sluce to bring the cons down even smaller, then use gold pan. Works great. Only a few gold dust flakes per litre slip through

Missing a screw to complete it!!Metal is all bent & lifted.
