Perfect Replacement
Somewhere along the line I had misplaced my T-Mount for my Bower 500mm Mirror Lens and found this on Amazon as a direct replacement. Construction, fit and finish are identical to the original mount and it worked perfectly with my camera after installation on the lens. Remember this does not have the electronic contacts so you will need to use all manual settings from aperture to shutter speed to get the correct exposure. Good quality at a reasonable price.

Nice solid fit and a rotation stop for easy removable.
There are a lot of T-Rings available on the market. But there is one key feature to look for. Look closely at the product image and you'll notice that there's a tiny silver bump on the bayonet mounting ring. That silver bump is a screw which serves as a rotation stop. You WANT THAT. When removing the T-ring from the camera, the screw stops the rotation of the t-ring when it's lined up for removable from the camera (the feature is more important when removing the ring then it is when putting it on.) Keep in mind... this t-ring is usually intended to attach a camera to a telescope - which means you'll probably be using it in the dark, when you can't see very. Apart from that, it does have a nice snug fit so it doesn't wobble on the back of the telescope during very long exposures.

I wish all T-mounts were built like this one...
I use the T-mount to connect my Canon T3i DSLR to a telescope, either via a nose adapter or a field flattener (which is then inserted into the telescope). Either way this T-Mount is the best built one I've tried - it's a hefty peice of metal, has a positive click when engaged, a good sized twist ring (which is nicely machined) and the Oh-so-important stop mechanism. I was shocked at the quality of this T-mount when I opened the box! I would pay three times the cost for this adapter; it's seriously under-priced.

Works like a charm
Fits the Bower 500mm f8 to my Canon T3i like a hand and glove. Three set screws allow for the repositioning of the inner collar to line up the lens marks properly. Simple adjustment and you only have to do it once. Focus through infinity and very little vignetting. Makes this old lens worth using. Can't beat the price.

Very well made.
This is the wrong adapter for my Cannon camera but can use it on my Nikon

Doesn't fit Canon T3i or T50
Have a 300mm lens I was hoping to use on my T3, but doesn't fit either. The definition explaining which models are compatible could be clearer.

I had an old Cambron 500mm f/8 Manual Telephoto Lens I bought in the 1980's still kicking around, and it had a T-mount for a Canon FD. You see cheapish similar looking lenses still around for sale, although in various brand names, probably made by the same South Korean company, fairly low quality, but usually sell for under $200. So I ordered this EOS (EF type) T-mount mostly for novelty purposes, and sure enough it's the same thread and it fits the old lens perfectly, and the lens works fine though I own higher quality ones.

For the price, this is a solid T mount and better than the cheap ones you find from other auction sites or even within Amazon site. Made with metal and easy to adjust the mount onto the lens and camera. Happy with the purchase.
