These lights are awesome! I am using them to highlight Christmas decorations indoors. The provide good illumination and the optional, included dimmer works well.I bought the "warm white" variation but they are more like what is sometimes called "bright white", which was perfect for my application. Bright white is the happy color in between the yellowish warm white and the bluish daylight. In other words they are not as yellow as an incandescent and I am guessing closer to 3500K.My only complaint is the power wire comes right out of the bottom of the light and there is no groove where the wire could sit if you want to surface mount these. It also prevents these from freestanding on their own since the wire keeps tilting them. Clearly they were meant to be attached through a ceiling or wall or on a track. It would have been nice to have a way to make the wire exit the side so you would have a choice. I plan to make a detachable base to solve this issue.

So yeah they're 35$, but for what I was looking for, they are a LOT cheaper than "dollhouse/ miniature" specialty lighting. The color temperature (warm for this set) is perfect. A nice white-yellow light (think 40 watt incandescent bulbs) from these little LED powerhouses. They can get quite bright. I hope the dimmer holds out but even if it dies, you can bypass the dimmer altogether in seconds. The "lenses" are removable also (because these are "spotlights" if one were to sand the lens it could be made a floodlight instead). The focus on these (or "hotspot") is nice for this particular lamp I'm building so I'm leaving the lenses as-is. They don't get hot at all at medium brightness. (Haven't run the at max for hours as I haven't needed them to be that bright). I would definitely buy these again.

I have an old glass perfume bottle collection that I recently made shelves for. I bought these lights to make them look more like a curio cabinet and they did the job quite nicely! They give off a good bit of light and are also dimmable. I gave 4 out of 5 stars only because the dimmable switch does not turn off when in the off position. I have to unplug it to turn it off. If the seller will send a new switch and after trying it it works, I will change my 4 star rating to a 5UPDATEI contacted the seller in regards to the switch and they replaced it. Now everything works! Thank you!

I got these to use in a specific place to light up some art. The lights are bright, look real easy to set up, and are nice. The drawback is that the range of aim on them is very limited due to how the gimbal is made. You can point them at a more than maybe 30 degrees off straight down.

I use these to illuminate Christmas houses - I just insert the spots into the holes in the bottoms. Works great!!

I had something like these in mind but I really didn't know that they actually existed. I was so happy when I came across them. They're teeny but they give off the perfect amount of light. And the fact that they're dimmable, makes them even better. I wanted something that would highlight an accent décor piece I recently bought. I placed these little lights behind my glass mosaic ship and they work perfectly. I used a little glue gun to stick them to my marble mantle and hid the cords underneath a decorative runner. Really satisfied.

I bought these mini-spotlights to illuminate a model ship that I recently completed. The light set is extremely well made and functions beautifully as shown in the included photo. The lights are mounted in a closed case and I was initially worried about excessive heating . The case volume is approximately 2.5 cubic ft. After 2 hours at the highest light setting the temperature rise in the display case was 6 deg F - well within acceptable limits. This is a superior product I would recommend to other potential customers

I liked the light's, they work as expected, but a huge inconvenience is that they don't have the opening on the base for the wires, I was sure that they were going to have that.
