Good

Simple and elegant. Doesn't damage blade edge as some "pull through" sharpeners do. Creates a razor sharp edge in just a few strokes. Hones or sharpens. I'm handing these out for the holidays!

I've bought one for myself, and given one as a gift. This tool is simple to use, and does a great job.

I just could not get this to sharpen to the level I need. Tried working it in all angles, pressures, etc.Could never get it to cleanly slice paper. In contrast, when I do need to sharpen, I went back to my combo of using the accu-sharp followed by the steel. Beautifully made though.

Very simple to use, and very quick as well. Literally one can take a knife from dull to sharp in less than a minute. I know that some of you might look at this and worry about getting injured while using it, but since it is heavy weight steel with a broad base that is highly unlikely. Also, not much pressure is required. On the downside, it does take off a bit more metal than a professional sharpener might, and of course it won't give you an edge that you would literally shave with, but it sharpens more than well enough for kitchen use. I liked it so much I bought another one as a gift! I know so many people with dull knives, I could gift these for the next ten years!

This is one superb knife sharpener, easy to use, doesn't seem to remove very much metal, and compact to have around. I don't know why it's not the #1 knife sharpener on everyone's list.

Hard to find, and expensive. But works like magic. Restores edges and hones to razor-sharpness. I bought two since they are scarce.

Since it is so heavy it stands firm on the table. Great hold. Simple to use. My knifes are sharp like never before.

Sono un appassionato di coltelli e affilatori , dunque mi hanno molto meravigliato le recensioni positive su questo prodotto. Diciamo che consuma notevolmente la lama e crea un filo irregolare e non liscio e uniforme. La riprova sono i numerosi truccioli di metallo che si depositano sulla base. L'affilatura di contro non è eccelsa ma solo passabile.Da rilevare che invece tentando affilare coltelli in acciaio extra duro (tipo il G13) non incide assolutamente sul filo lasciandolo invariato e non tagliente. Che dire ? Una vera e propria delusione e decisamente sconsigliato.

Ich kann meine Zufriedenheit fast nicht beschreiben, nur eines kann ich mit Bestimmtheit sagen, ich habe schon einige Schärfgeräte ausprobiert aber alle waren "bescheiden" mit dem Ergebnis, bis auf den Vulkanus, da hat man am Ende der Schärftätigkeit ein echt super scharfes Ergebnis, zwar im höheren Preissegment aber nichts desto trotz unbedingt zum weiterempfehlen!

Scharfmachen kann er und das mit Abstand zu allen anderen bisher getesteten Schleifsteinen etc.Ich verlange eine Petition, dass Amazon die Wortzahl bei Rezensionen auf mindestens 5 festlegt.Geil würde reichen, aber Amazon will dann noch 100 Wörter :-)

I've been a butcher now for the last 27 years, as other people have said it's quite expensive for a knife sharpener but it's worth it's weight in gold, it is so well built and a good weight to it, if you're sitting on the fence don't you won't be disappointed, it's so easy to use and every knife does come like a razor blade in just a few strokes, it sits proudly on my work surface and look good, remember a sharp knife is safer than a blunt knife.

habe ja schon sehr viel Schärfervarianten ausprobiert und die liegen alle zuhause rum, weil zu aufwendig oder nicht funktionell.Dieses Teil ist TOP. 6 mal durchziehen und das Messer hat eine Schärfe die gefährlich ist !
