NEW EZ Cracker Egg Cracker with Separator! Separate Egg Whites!

The media could not be loaded.  this product works great, just put the eggs in the rings then snap it... easy.... however I've seen reviews on youtube and elsewhere and they are showing it not working or working awkwardly.... here are some how to's to get a better experience:- first, douse the thing in running water to get it clean and lubricate it well, this makes a big difference and helps the yolks separate easier if you are doing that- next make sure the egg is aligned with its points in the rings pretty good, doesn't need to be perfect, but close so the yolk comes out easily... in the video, you can see I was careless once and had to fiddle with the shell some to get the yolk out- the biggest point is.... don't be wimpy at all when you crack, snap the handles firmly so the egg gets cleanly cracked in one shot.... quick not slow and it will work great every time- lastly, be patient on the whites separating, it will work fine, but you may have to lightly rock it back and forth and wait 10 seconds or so.overall great product... enjoy!

I thought that this product would make the whole egg cracking, and yolk separating process much quicker; however, it does not. It takes the same amount of time, and then some because I have to clean off the cracker afterwards (duh to me...). Also, the cracker cracked the yolk, which totally defeated the main purpose of why I bought this product since the yolk still oozed through the cracks. Kinda bummed :/

I don't know which one everyone else here ordered--this actual by CMT technologies, but mine absolutely DID NOT work. I placed the egg sideways, squeezed the handle, and the separator separated itself BEFORE it would apply pressure on the egg. Plus, my box arrived smashed (the product inside was not). I tried for several minutes to get it to work, took the egg out, readjusted it, etc., but the device would open up without applying any actual pressure to the egg. I got my mom an egg cracker for Christmas, but hers came from a different source and actually works. I would not advise at all ordering from this company. PLUS, I will have to provide my own postage.

Works ok, but the egg separator attachment falls off too easily. Also, it really doesn't make peeling boiled eggs all that much easier. Still, it's a fun tool to use and works pretty good.

It's ok but you have to hit it just right to get it to crack correctly. Otherwise you are in the same boat as when you didn't have this gadget.

Does not work as well with smaller eggs.

I was genuinely surprised at how well this worked for separating eggs. Put the egg in the loop sideways, make sure the grip of the handle is facing down, and it cracks the egg perfectly each time. Even the yolk separator is easy to use with a steady hand. Cleanup is easy; I just use some dish soap on a paper towel to wipe the blade area, which is the only part that gets egg on it. Easy!
