This mousepad is worth every penny. It may be slightly expensive at $60, but you really are getting what you paid for. I got the extended version, which is absoloutley massive. It has room for a full size keyboard and a mouse with room to spare. The mat is made of a nice soft material with the chroma lighting around the sides. My main skepticism was that the threads holding the chroma lighting would be weak, but they are strong and hold the lighting tight against the pad. If you read reviews saying that the pad doesn't lay down flat, please ingore them. The instructions in the box clearly states that you need to give the pad some time to settle and adapt to a flat surface (it comes rolled on a cardboard tube so that it doesn't have creaces). Mine started with a few small spots where it wouldn't lay down, but after a day of sitting they were gone. Other reviews state that the pads soft top is easily torn, but mine is very sturdy and won't come up even if you try to remove it. This mousepad is a great product, with the typical Razer quality that is expected. If you see a bad review, chances are that any problems were caused by peoples own error and inability to read the instructions. This mousepad adds flair to your setup that you really wouldn't expect a simple lighted mat to add. When paired with an RGB keyboard and mouse, it makes for a brilliant light show.

Before I address the headline, let me say that this is a very fine, very large mouse mat that is excellent in all respects. The surface material is smooth and well suited to gaming, no problems with aiming whatsoever, the lights work as advertised, there seems to have been an issue with programming the lights before, but in my more recent experience, all it takes is downloading the Razer Synapse software, continuing as a guest (no more login needed), setting it to your preferred configuration, and enjoying the light show. On to the headline. The reason that you do NOT want to buy this used is because of the way that the mouse mat is made. The portion of the mat that lights up is similar in material to a glowstick. If it is bended in any sort of unsightly manner, It will be very hard to form it back to a shape that will look appealing on a flat surface. I am in the process of returning my previous purchase. When it is new, it is carefully rolled up into the box, wrapped around a cardboard cylinder, with a thin film wrapped on top of that so that you don't get a mat that is crinkled up at various points. When it is used, it's highly likely to have been handled by a dude getting paid minimum who will pass off all those crinkles as acceptable. Can't blame them, either. I've been there. You may have been, too. But I can't stand such an aesthetically pleasing mat being marred with edges that will not lie flat, instead having raised bumps all around the borders. Do yourself a favour, and just get this thing brand new. It's a beautiful compliment to any desktop setup. Make sure you have the room for it, too!

Very happy with this product. I have a large desk and I use my keyboard and mouse to game. This mat is large enough to accommodate whatever configuration I need. Most importantly, it provides awesome grip and precision for my optical mouse (I use a Razer Basilisk), and good grip for my keyboard (I use a Razer Cynosa Chroma), which now does not shift at all when I'm mashing keys in live combat. Bonus - it looks hella cool with my LED mouse and keyboard. The LED lit edging is not bumpy or raised above the mat, so there is no skin irritation on my wrists or lower arms while using it. I was a bit unsure of purchasing it at first, because of the cost (and I was hoping to find one with graphics on the mat itself), but like all Razer products, it's high quality, and does its jobs very well. If they ever make one with graphics that are based on popular fantasy MMORPGs or fantasy topics/subjects instead of mostly FPS, I'd own one of those, too! The black is super slick though, and looks really good on my desk. As far as cleaning goes, I have Siberian Huskies and their hair often gets stuck on the mats off my sleeves, and it takes some work to get them off. That's not a bad thing though - it's a testament to its grippy nature. I just use a non-shedding type cotton cloth to lightly wipe it off and keep it clean. I've not tried to clean it beyond a surface dusting, so not sure how it will hold up when it needs a more solid cleaning, but I'd doubt I'll have any problems with it.

This replaced a fairly inexpensive no-name mouse/keyboard mat and it's been worth the money so far. Although slightly pricey, it's competitive with other name-brand products in its class. It's well made and big enough to comfortably accommodate my Corsair keyboard and Logitech MX Master 3 with no worries about running out of room. The mouse tracks exceptionally well. Stitching around the edges is good and the mat laid flat right out of the box (I've seen other reviews here stating that was a problem, but fortunately I didn't have that issue). The mat doesn't move on its own and stays put even during a hard gaming session, exactly as it should. The Synapse software is what takes this product to the next level: the mouse mat can change color and react to what's on the screen, or just a portion of it - but my favorite is the VU meter effect where the colors pulse to whatever music or audio is playing. Colors are not overly bright, but I don't find this to be an issue; it's for accent after all. If you have a Razer mouse, you can trigger effects on the mat based on your input. Lastly the mat can also be used for notifications by integrating it with Outlook and other apps (unfortunately Slack isn't one of those anymore). I'd buy this again, and would definitely recommend to others. It's a quality product and is built to last.

A great product, typical good razer quality. I personally didn't experience any waviness or warping, it laid flat right off from the start. As for the RGB, it is bright, looks good, works very well with other razer products. Pro: - it's very large, big enough for a full size keyboard and mouse, with more room to spare. - RBG is good quality and very smooth - the mat is soft and overall a decent pad Con: - the RGB is not addressable, so you can't have a half green/red pad. It's all one color all the time, though the transitions are very smooth between colors. It has odd interactions with the ripple effect on razer synapse, for example, due to this. - The RGB edging is held to the mat by a woven thread lattice. Usually it's not noticable, and it looks very good, but I personally don't find it very comfortable on the bottom of my bare forearm. Not a big deal to most but I thought it was worth mentioning.

I've been in need of a good desktop mat for some time now, and finally decided to get something to match my Razer Blackwidow Chroma keyboard and Razer Naga Epic Chroma. It integrated perfectly with Razer Synapse, and got set up alongside my keyboard and mouse with relative ease (some of the chroma effects need a little tweaking to work with the simple border light, but it wasn't too bad). Also, it's pretty huge, but in a good way. It not only fits my keyboard and mouse, but has room for my personal phone and my work phone on the opposite side, which really partitions my desk nicely! Comfort-wise, I'd definitely recommend using it alongside a gel wrist support. The light strip is held on by thin stitching, which looks nice, but it pretty irritating and abrasive on the wrists when they're rested against it bare - almost like itchy rope. The mat itself is really soft and comfortable though, so no complaints there. Dust and dander can be a bit of a pain to brush off because of the soft texture, but I haven't had it long enough to know if this will be any sort of a long running problem. I can't imagine it being a magnet for dirt though since it's a pretty smooth surface for what it is. It did definitely pick some things up within a minute of going down on my clean desk though, so don't expect it to be a spotless black for long at all. All in all, I'm extremely satisfied, but I was already set up pretty nicely to have it ahead of time. Again, I really recommend having a wrist support with this so you don't rub your wrists raw against the stitching, otherwise this is a great desktop accent piece / mousepad!

Very good quality. The mat is thick, lays flat easily, and doesn’t ripple. It takes a few days to get used to the slightly rough stitching on the RGB strip, but you adapt quickly. The RGB lighting is uniform all around, and you can sync it with other Razer products, adjust the brightness, and apply effects that look really great. 10/10, highly recommended.

Honestamente después de ver los reviews que aquí han dado tenia las expectativas demasiado bajas sobre todo por el tema de que estaba deforme y con ondulaciones horribles. La realidad es que el tapete es una maravilla, me llego bien empaquetado y no muestra ninguna ondulación ya sea por delante o por atrás como se aprecia en la foto (hagan caso a las instrucciones y déjenlo reposar las 24 horas, usenlo pero no traten de "arreglarlo" ustedes no sean impacientes) la luz en condiciones oscuras donde normalmente resalta más los leds es muy buena y llamativa sobre todo si combinas los demás productos razers aunque honestamente el pad por si solo como ya mencione esta pasado de ...ga. En funcionalidad es muy bueno y preciso si lo combinas con un buen ratón, en mi caso por ejemplo tengo el deathadder chroma que ya es una generación pasada y me va muy bien aunque si tuviera que ser franco yo que tengo la posibilidad de tener un firefly también tendría que decir que me quedo con el firefly, en mi humilde opinión la versión hard para mi es un poco mejor que el goliathus soft ya que no me gusta sentir esa pequeña resistencia que causa valga la redundancia la versión soft. El precio me parece un poco alto pero razer siempre ha sido así y creo incluso le da un poco de exclusividad al final de cuentas va de cada quien si les parece caro o no. En resumen si tienes el dinero y quieres un articulo llamativo y sobre todo funcional dale sin miedo.

Pros: -Light diffuser is very even across the whole thing, surprisingly. The exception is the corners, but hey, welcome to physics limitations, take a number and we'll process your complaint sometime in the next 3 millennia. -No obnoxious branding on the cloth itself. Very slick, smooth surface. -USB cable is long enough that it's not a problem. 21.3 units big. What units you ask? Stop asking questions. -Very sturdy, high-quality construction. -Nice and wide, just how I like my mousepads. Keeps the keyboard on the same height as the mouse. You wouldn't think it does much for ergonomics but it's got like a high-class feel to it and makes you feel richer than we both know you are. Cons: -Light bar is stitched on. That itself isn't the problem, but the (surprisingly strong) string used tends to dig into your skin a bit and feels rough after a while. Not as big of a problem as you think it is. I don't notice much, even after a 16-hour gaming marathon. Usually some red skin after that, but that's not surprising. -CLOTH. God I hate cloth. Spill one thing on it and the stain ruins the slick appearance forever. Wears down your mouse skates. Frays over time. Sure it looks nice, but god I wish you could get extended PLASTIC mousepads. Complaints are mild and may vary due to personal taste. Honestly a really high-quality mousepad with gorgeous vibrancy. Not very bright, but then again I wouldn't want it to be; would be too distracting.
