Good screening, not pixelated, no flaws.Hair is cut in a bob, a bit shorter at the back. It's heavily gelled to keep in place, but you can shampoo the gel off and let it air dry, and the hairstyle looks perfect.Dress is too large and hangs poorly, but that's due to it being "one size fits all" to accommodate the bigger "curvy" body type. This collection is made to be interchangeable.Mobility is good. The doll has multiple joints which feel sturdy.Accessories are ok. Metallic earrings. Standard issue pointy high heeled boots, but in black.Since this product is made for adults and to allow for customization, the head can be pulled up easily from the body. There's no hidden hooks on the neck peg to force it attached. The head doesn't bobble and stays firmly in place.

Beautiful doll, nicely made clothes, removable earrings and a new swappable head design, with easy to open packaging... though she's got the same 3 t-tags stabbed through her head to keep her in place in the box.The new barbie Basics dolls all have a differently shaped neck-peg that allows you to remove the head without needing to use boiling water or heat to first soften the head, which will be great for collectors who like to head swap.With big blue eyes and stunning white hair, she's got a dramatic eye make up that really suits her. I personally think the lashes are a little overdone, but I love that her brows are a grey shade that suits her hair really well. Her face is NOT shiny, nor is it pixelated.This doll is a match for the Made to Move swirl Yoga Millie for anyone looking for a nice body and a cute outfit, and has the same level of articulation as any other MTM dolls. She's a shade or so darker than the Tennis Player doll.Mine arrived with tight but not impossible to move joints and no large manufacturing errors... though there is the slightest discoloration on her right bust, in a spot that will be hidden if she has even a bikini on, so it's not a dealbreaker for me.She comes wearing silver hoops, a black mini dress with an open back and sides, and dramatic high heel 'gladiator' style sandals/boots. She comes with a little double sided adhesive on the front of her thighs to hold the skirt in place, but that's easy to remove, if you want to.The black dress IS shedding just the slightest amount of lint or dust, which looks more dramatic on her pale skin, but that's easy to wipe away. I don't store or display my dolls in black clothing long term for safety reasons (the dye can stain over time) but I think this dress would *probably* be safe on her? It's super cute, but I got mine to redress and eventually rebody on a petite doll, so we'll see!Her silver hoop earrings are removable, but be aware that the metallic finish is a little fragile and the plastic isn't the strongest, and regular removal will continue to chip and damage the finish... but being removable, they're also super easy to replace with other earrings if and when they break. I removed mine to slide off the plastic protectors and found her ear-holes are coated in silver paint already.All in all, if these dolls replace the Barbie Looks like I'll be sad to lose the bright colorful outfits, but there IS something so chic about an all black look and I love the new neck peg design.She's a good price for a quality product, and I'll be grabbing more from this line, I'm sure.

This new Barbie Basics Model line is so great! Being an adult doll/toy collector and customizer, the option to easily remove the head for easier body swaps for better articulation for other dolls is great! Also, each head sculpt of this doll line is beautiful, so you may need two of each bc you’ll fall in love with the dolls themselves too! I love Model #3! She’s on a tall made to move body with 22 points of articulation. Her hair is thickly rooted, which comes in a hair net. I adore her, and bought every doll in this new line!

The doll was just as pretty as the photo. She is a little smaller in stature (feet too) than a standard Barbie but is fully poseable. Love that it comes with a stand. Great price. Nice to see a more natural looking redhead from Mattel.

Very nice! She's so cute! (I named her Siobhán) She's very articulated so I can pose her for photos and videos and her outfit is really nice and elegant it's also compatible with my other Barbie dolls! I changed her up a bit and I'm gonna give her a different look by the way this is a really nice doll that I was really looking forward to getting and happy I got it!

I love the swap and play functionality of this doll compared to previous Dolls. I love all of her movement and joint articulation. $25 for this doll was well worth it for me.

Mattel has listened to the doll collector who loves changing the doll’s clothes and hairstyles. The first dolls are released in anticipation for the Kits which are currently available for preordering on Mattel’s site. I chose number 1 because she has a beautiful face sculpt and a classic Barbie body. I am very pleased with my choice. My single complaint is that her hair is nothing like the photo on the box. It was stiff with product and required washing, cream rinsing and a boil wash. After, the hair is blunt cut at the bottom, so I went with that look. I imagine you could try curling it, but I was satisfied with the style I created. I have changed her into a lovely dress and she looks beautiful. The price is right, she is fully articulated and if you choose to buy a kit, you will have more outfits to mix and match.
