Cheap do it yourself replacement saves you &350+ at Kia and resolves weird startup problems!
Hey, this is exactly what my 2016 Kia soul need it! Over half the time when you turn the key, neither of the radio or air conditioner came on, so I learned this is a problem with a $20 switch that is not too bad for owner replacement: six screws and some clips to loosen the lower dashboard cover, and the cowling around the steering wheel top and bottom pieces, which fully exposes this part, with key turned all the way on but not to start, the old switch unplugged pops out and is replaced, reassemble. There’s a good but not great YouTube video that gives needed details. My dealer wanted over $350 to do this! This part does the trick, hope it lasts longer than the original,
