A Must-Have for Anyone Living with a Lower Leg Cast!
I’m 5’11”, 180 pounds, and I’m a doctor myself.I fractured my ankle while hiking and my orthopedic surgeon put me in a fiberglass cast for the next 4 to 6 weeks. Told me to keep it dry. Easy for him to say. No amount of plastic wrap, duct tape, or giant Ziploc bags would keep water out in the shower. After a week of awkward sponge baths and feeling like I could never fully get clean, this cast cover was a total game-changer.It fits perfectly over my bulky lower leg cast thanks to the snug, stretchy rubber gasket at the top, which seals securely without cutting off circulation. The attached thick plastic sleeve is durable, completely waterproof, and roomy enough to comfortably fit over the entire cast and lower leg.I finally took a long, hot shower—without fear of getting my cast wet—and it felt amazing. The cover stayed completely in place, didn’t leak a drop, and gave me the freedom and relief I didn’t realize I’d been missing so much. It’s well-designed, easy to use, and incredibly effective. If you’re stuck living with a cast for any length of time, don’t hesitate—this product is a must-have. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

100% water proof
I had Taylor Bunion (aka bunionette) surgery on 10 JUL 2025. My specific instructions were not to get dressing wet for six weeks. Prior to the surgery, I was stressed about how to bathe or shower. A friend told me about this product. At first I was nervous that water would get through because the instructions were so simple. The fit was firm around my lower leg (not too tight) and held in place. Day 1: Quick shower. No water seeped through. Day 2: Semi quick shower. No water seepage. This product is awesome! It totally protected my foot from getting wet. The design is simple. Results are true as described. I will have the same surgery on my left foot in three months. Although nothing lasts forever, I hope it lasts long enough to protect during my second surgery. If not, it’s so reasonably priced, I will purchase a second one.

Very Effective
This is so easy to use and keeps the leg perfectly dry. Gasket is designed to fit tightly around the skin but is not uncomfortable. Stretches open sufficiently to go over the foot and cast. The design allows you to towel dry when finished and slip it off without any moisture getting to the cast. Highly recommend!

Works great but use as instructed
I will start off by saying this, read the directions and follow the directions. This product is not designed to be submerged underwater. It is designed for the shower and in that respect I feel that it works.I’ve used it half a dozen times, and it has kept the area bone dry.A couple of things you should probably be aware of. This product in my opinion is designed for below the calf. Not mid calf, and not top of the calf, but below the calf. Basically, anything a few inches or more above the ankle, and you’ll be rolling the dice. Secondly, I wear a men’s 10 shoe size. My foot barely fits in the foot portion. So I would say anything larger than a 10 and your toes are going to be crammed right up against the front. The plastic is a pretty durable and strong gauge of plastic, and I really cannot see being able to tear through it from just normal use. You still need to be careful when using the product as you will slide around a little bit from it. But not as much as I thought I would. During the use, it gets heavy and it feels like it’s filling up with water, but it is not. It’s just the water that is accumulating on top. My only design recommendation would’ve been to come up with a way for the water to drain off the top. But other than that, I have no criticisms. You should still try to keep it out from the direct line of the shower water as much as you can. But I think it can certainly handle a “normal “shower.I would highly recommend this and if used according to the directions, it should serve you well. It is certainly leagues better than the old days where you just put a garbage bag over it and hope for the best.
