The local tap is 290tds, after installing two of the filters tied together it only lowered it to 250tds???

The only thing that lowers tds is a ro system.

will this fit on a double qc71 unit

Is there a shorter version of this ES07 filter that will fit the QC71 Twin? I have a small space I'm dealing with under my cabinet. I'm solving for a new espresso machine myself. And if not, any other suggestions? The ES07 was recommended based on my water quality report but I can't fit this 20 inch filter alone let alone plus the QC71. Thx
