284yrd deep brown Leather Sewing Waxed Thread 150D 1mm Leather Hand Stitching 125g by Dow

Waxed thread was an excellent repair medium for Handbags and Rucksacks where handles and straps stitching had started to fail rendering what was still a good and serviceable item, useless. The use of the waxed thread breathed new life and wear into my much loved handbag.

This is close to black.

I used this to apply beaded patches to clothing exposed to sun and occasional rain. It has held up well. I had quite a bit left over and have used it for numerous other random projects. Good strength. Doesn't fray.

This is *NOT* proper waxed leatherworking thread. It's synthetic and there is no apparent wax. It's floppy and literally comes unraveled at the end if you brush your finger against it. The spool I was sent was obviously opened by someone else who had also sent it back. It is VERY Made In China.
