Stopped working within the first 8 minutes
Opened the box at 5:00pm.Put in the batteries at 5:02pm.My son began playing with it at 5:04pm.He discovered the light button at 5:05pm. Super cool, he loved it!We turned the light on and off two times.Light stopped working by 5:08pm.I turned the machine off and on and it made no difference. Light button was not functioning, but spin function was.Began refund process at 5:11pm.Wrote this review at 5:14pm.

Delightful!
My 3 and 5 year old grand-daughters were enthralled! I knew they would use all the supplies in a few hours, and they did. Because I couldn't find paint and paper refills, I'll just buy another kit which is why I give it a 4 star rating. Then again, most of the paint get splattered on the rim so maybe a new one is best.

Amazing purchase, perfect gift
This is awesome! Everyone loved it. There's no sound and no mess. Its easy to run out of the square cards pretty quick though. But, It's just like card stock, maybe a little thicker. I'm sure you can get it from a craft store and cut it to size. I'm really happy with this purchase.

Neat, a little sameness to the results.
As crazy as it is to set kids up with spinning paint, this toy kept them (2:yrs, 4 yrs) occupied for hours, lasted several sessions over the course of a few weeks. All the outcomes looked the same to me. Don’t see the purpose in having a light, wish you could turn it off to save batteries. The paints are silvery and this machine is supposed to create a magical glow effect as it’s working. Or something. I miss the spinners we used to have that came with bright colors. With more colors the paintings looked different. Great to bring out when there’s a need for a distraction, kids can use it themselves, it’s quite a neat toy.

Love it! Just be prepared to cut your own refills.
My kid loves this thing! It’s so much fun. We ran out of the cardboard squares in no time flat, after maybe 2 uses, but it’s a good opportunity for us to cut our own out of cardboard in the recycling bin. (Think pasta boxes, cereal boxes, etc.) If you’re not inclined to do the same or hunt down refills, this toy may have a very short life span. Otherwise, if you don’t mind busting out the scissors and stocking up on little squares from time to time, this will be a fast favorite.

May have been a one off but not a good start.
The first time I went to put batteries in one of the screws was stripped and I couldn't get it out. I was going to return it until a friend said he could fix it with a thing that rips out screws...well that kind of worked, the head broke off instantly but that got it to open. There is still one screw to hold it on so that works I guess. The product works good now and my son likes, I just wish it wasn't such a pain from the get go at least it was only $17.

Best kids spinner
So I originally bought this spinner. Kids loved it and it worked great. In this case I was the idiot and threw a little water in the base to clean it. Ugh so regret it. Bought the Small World Creative version as a replacement and it made me realize how much better quality this one is. Dial broke off pretty quickly. I dried out this one and changed out the batteries and it works again!!

We bought this for Christmas for my niece and have t heard any complaints. Came in a sturdy box with all pieces needed.
