I've been keeping a journal for 30 years or more. This is BY FAR MY FAVORITE JOURNAL! I use the B5 size which I love!! Highly recommend this size, which all my old journals were the larger size. I use a fountain pen and there is zero bleed though. It lays flat which means you aren't fighting it constantly. The laying flat part is my favorite I think. The line rule is perfect. I actually look forward to writing in it. I carry it with me a lot and it has shown no wear whatsoever. I first purchased this journal in 2024 and I am purchasing another today.

Excellent journal!! Not only does it have a place that you can put the date at the top and the page number at the bottom, it also has a summary section in the front where you can list the date, page, and very brief summary of what was written on that page. This way, if you want to find a specific thing written about it can be easily located. Also, this journal has lined pages to keep writings neatly spaced. Additionally it has a small elastic strap that will hold the journal closed, a place to attach a pen and a pocket in back of journal for additional items like pictures, extra notes, mementos, etc. The paper is thick enough that there is no bleed through of the gel pens that I use. I’m highly impressed with this product and recommend it to anyone looking to journal.

Overall, nice journal with minimal complaints. It has plenty of pages, a table of contents, a ribbon bookmark, a pen holder, and a closure strap as advertised. Pages are also bleed resistant as well.My only problem with it is that the spine seems to be missing support. While the front and back of the cover have a hard material inside, the spine lacks this material for reinforcement unlike other books. This could mean that the journal may be prone to coming apart a little easier than others over time. But that likely shouldn't be an issue, I imagine nobody is going to be throwing this around enough for it to come apart during usage.

It’s light enough to toss into my bag for on-the-go jotting and sturdy enough to use daily.The only catch? I wish it was a bit larger—while the compact size is great for portability, it felt a tad small for my handwriting style and longer entries.Overall, though, this journal has become my favorite. Elegant, easy to carry, and wonderfully well-made—a must-have for anyone who loves a beautifully lined notebook!

It's called a Coptic binding. It is designed to lay flat. The pages are stitched together, and the binding is not glued to the pages, (I took a bookmaking class). This is a very professionally made journal. I would recommend using a scissors, if you want to remove any pages, and leave the stitching intact. Much respect, from me.

I absolutely love the look and feel of this notebook—the paper is thick and smooth, and the cover is sturdy and elegant. It quickly became my favorite for journaling and notes. Unfortunately, after just a bit of use, the binding started to give out and the first few pages began coming loose. Still a lovely product, but I wish the construction matched the quality of the materials.

I’ve purchased A5 and B5. I definitely prefer a bigger journal for writing space & comfort while writing. I love this journal, definitely worth the buy! I’ve used mine as a scrap journal but it lays great for writing and pages are high quality.

This is a lovely journal, that has multiple functionality. Binding is reinforced on spine, not just sewn in pages. Soft lux leather outside. Paper thickness is very nice, minimal bleed through with heavier ink. Structure and layout, spots for dates and page numbers, plus the envelope in the back for tucking whatever. I’m impressed and ordering 2 more. Pen strokes sound quite nice on this paper.
