O.M. Scott and Sons Clover Seed, Lawn Seed Grows a Naturally Low Maintenance, Drought-Tolerant Lawn, 1,000 sq. ft., 2 lb.

These seeds are AMAZING they literally sprouted within 5 days, and are growing very fast. I simply threw the seeds onto the ground, no prep work at all. The sprouts are very sturdy, the pup can walk on them even as young as they are, and they spring right back up. I planted one of the bags on a hillside, really hoping it will help the soil stay moist, so the roots can get established. I have had a really tough time getting anything to grow because it is so steep. The little plants are beautiful, and already makes an otherwise bare area look great quickly. Another good thing about clover is it creates its own nitrogen, so no fertilizer is ever needed. Clover roots are also very dense, which helps with water retention, and requires very little if any mowing. Hoping to have the whole hillside be a clover lawn. I am amazed! We had a giant pool kill off a big circle of grass and all that came back was weeds. I spread the grass seed in the circle and it is already chocking out weeds and little baby grass is growing. It has only been 1 week. It grew much faster than it said it would. I am excited to see how sturdy it is when we mow it in about another 2 maybe 3 weeks. I am going to spread this through out the whole yard now.

The packaging could be a little better, there was a small rip in the bag when I opened the box it came in, but luckily I could just poor it out of the box and into my spreader with the rest of the seeds. It spread easily and I'm looking forward to seeing the results.

You never know what you're buying online and how well it works or how big something really is. But I took a chance ordering grass seed online because I needed it fast. I read the reviews and the package description and instructions online and decided to go for it.I'm glad I gave it a chance because I'm so happy with my choice of grass seed.The bag was bigger than I thought it would be based off bags of grass seed I've bought in the past.And it took about two weeks but I'm starting to see baby grass growing and I'm so happy and excited to see that soon I'll have a full yard of grass and no bare spots! It's going to be beautiful I can already tell because of how thick I laid the seed. Highly recommend and I'm now a customer for life!

I didn't expect a high germination rate since I didn't cover the seeds. I spread on top of the soil just before a long period of rain, and had an incredible amount of clovers sprouting in no time. I'm well on my way to no more muddy paw prints throughout the house every time it rains. Highly recommend these seeds for anyone needing ground cover in well worn areas.

I have had such trouble Forever trying to develop a lawn… tried everything…. We live in IL, sandy soil , part sun…discovered that what I often Thought was dead grass was actually fallen pine needles ! So I raked, thatched … raked… then amended soil…. ADDED this seed… WOW. It provided large seed heads on the grass quickly and fills in so SWEETLY!!! Finally a grass seed like the Heritage Grass I Remember ❤️😊

Works great! It's tiny brown colored pellets aren't visible after application so it doesn’t take away from the beauty. We planted our lawn with new seed about 5 weeks prior to application and our lawn is beautiful. The tiny pellets break down here in water and thank you! Grass is growing super good!10/10
