This strainer is perfect for straining fine things, such as herbs. The fabric zips off the metal handle, making cleaning really easy. I am so glad I found this and highly recommend it to anyone who makes their own herbal concoctions at home. It works well, is easy to use, and very durable. I have used it several times. Elderberry stains the fabric, but that is something you would expect, so it doesn't bother me at all. You could use this simply for tea, but I think it is too big for that unless you are making a big batch.

- No country of origin (illegal in the US) All the print on the bag is Taiwanese, the only English on the pkg is "Filter bag" and "New design" (it's not new) I'm not a big fan of the filter bags generally. They're messy and look fairly icky after use. If you're making a large pitcher, though, it's needful to use. This is exactly the same design as those I've bought over the last 20+ yrs. The cloth is nicely thick. Seams are even and well done. The handle is quite sturdy. It's working perfectly for me. Coffee gets in between the mesh and the stainless steel filter and can’t get it out. Poor sealing of the mesh.

Works well in straining teas! However, wish it was a tad bigger. Fits into 2L jugs

Seems sturdy, durable, and well made. Zipper and mesh appear to be of good quality. Frame very solid. Easy to disassemble and reassemble. Have used several times now and works well. Worked better than fine wire mesh strainer I had been using. Just be aware that it will stain, which is to be expected when straining tea, especially Thai tea.

These filters are much better made than I thought they would be. A stainless steel frame and high-quality filter cloth. As others have noted, these are large, intended for brewing large containers of tea. They will work in regular-sized teapots, but you will have to adjust how much of the filter is submerged in the water. Considering this came from Thailand, shipping was quick. 5 weeks from Thailand to Northern Canada. I very much recommend this product.
