CaltrateSoft Chews 600 Plus D3 Calcium Vitamin D Supplement, Vanilla Creme - 60 Count

I was taking another chewable calcium supplement, but my doctor didn't want me to take the Vitamin K in it and recommended I switch to Caltrate, which is just 600mg of calcium and 800IU of Vitamin D3. Unlike my other vitamins, I actually look forward to taking these as they are like a tiny chocolate "dessert." My calcium levels are good, so I know it's working.

Best wat to get your daily calcium plus d3. I found the chocolate flavor too chocolatey. Other brands offered a caramel flavor, but they were too sweet. The Caltrate vanilla is perfect!

These are far superior than other brands like Viactiv, which has an after taste. These are easy to chew, taste like milk chocolate and are good sources of calcium. Fun, too!

I'm having problems taking pills and swallowing so I started using this instead of the huge Caltrate pills and while this is expensive, it is really helpful for me to be able to use this instead of the the pills. They are tasty and easy to consume/swallow/chew. I'm glad they are available! Fully recommend.I do want to add here that I take two per day and as the end of the package approaches they get pretty dry and "hard". I have tried putting them in the fridge and in a tupperware container. Nothing really works. I don't think it affects them but I wish they did not do this.

I am a small-framed Caucasian woman with a family history of osteoporosis. Further, this year I have been trying to lose weight and I have been counting calories and I *know* my calcium intake has gone down because I am just not consuming as much dairy as I used to. Also, because I am pale and have a family history of skin cancer, I stay out of the sun, so my vitamin D intake could stand to be improved. I have tried calcium pills in the past, but they are so large that they are often hard to swallow. So I bought these. (In "chocolate truffle" flavor!)I am only taking one of these per day. I do still drink *some* milk and eat a little cheese, just not as much as I used to. So I figure I don't actually need two of them. (The package recommends up to two per day.) I like that they only have 15 calories. I enjoy the chocolate flavor. It's not really enough to give me a chocolate fix for the day, but I do like it! This has dairy and soy ingredients, for what it's worth, but no gelatin.These are low in sugar and sodium and do not have artificial sweeteners (they have some sucrose) so they don't have that artificial sweetener aftertaste. You can see the full ingredients list and nutrition facts panel if you zoom in on the product images. The texture of these is working for me as well. They are soft and chewy but not melty, and not as sticky as caramels (no worries about your dental work).Anyway, if you are looking to increase your calcium and vitamin D intake, these are a pleasant way to do so. I will definitely buy more when I run out.

The media could not be loaded. I really liked that these are pleasant to yake. I generally take after supper.tjat helps me not go to sweets and cuts the grease from supper. The chocolate flavor is nice and ease of taking they are just a bite in size. I have always known the quality of the company and now that I am older it's time to take some extra vitamin D.

Like both Viactiv and these but these seemed slightly larger and more flavorful....both are great....my little dessert..haha....the Caltrate was a little cheaper when I bought....I prefer the chocolate flavor to the vanilla. I have found that if I don't store them in the frig that they are soft and want to stick to packaging. I would never order them in the warm weather...they would certainly melt in the heat. Just my suggestion.....nice product and way to get the calcium you need
